We got a fire ant and insanely massive block maybe two block stretch of Argentine ants fighting for food during the summer nights it’s insane the amount of deaths I see from the fire ants the only thing I think that keeps them alive is their painful sting

Near my home there are these ants and they spread for blocks n blocks moving thousands of queens

I have got a question ... I would love to make a semi natural enclosure ( as far as thát's possible ofcours) but watching ur video i saw those seeds with Elaiosomes , but is there a name for it ? Cause I would like to feed those to the ants . I haven't gotten a colony just yet cause im still reading into their care and habitat needs . But I want to buy them as they are for sale and in stock here now ...but there are just a few . They are very pricey here in the Netherlands and RARE ... just like honeypot ants 🐜 they cost a lot ... 😅

1 thing I do is offering just a tiny bit of honey and a tiny snack. You DONT know how long the queen was moving around before you got it so she might be exhausted
