We must have an ant colony or possibly many right in the crawl space under my house as we just went thru a few days of queen after queen popping up around my house looking for places to start her own colony. My daughter found 2 in the folds of an old rug and i found a couple in some blankets. There were a few coming from the closet where our furnace is and there are openings directly to the crawl space which is where they came from. So far no other ant workers have been seen anywhere in the house. But the 2 queens my daughter kept have already ld serveral eggs. It was quite exciting to pull the tube out of the tin wrap we had covering the queens and seeing the eggs she was tending to.
