On Fuji cameras in the recipe you can mess with shadows and highlights is that literally just the contrast slider or do they have seperate sliders in theirs for that

Also, it takes me time to punch in my code and switch to photo and after that, the moment has passed. So, want something that I can keep in my bag for those moments. This looks promising.

2 of the best ccd pocket cams before 2011 were the F30/31fd and the Canon S95 all use a 1/1.7" (7.5x5.5mm)ccd and an honorable mention is the F50fd (super ccd 1/1.6 (8x6mm)for size, speed, and lower iso performance up to 400. The color nod goes to the fuji's. If you go a little larger in size, the fuji XF1 & XQ1 are very close to the top for a 2/3" (8.8x6.6mm) and under. I don't think there are others this small that give as good results. I base this on owning around 75 different pocket models over 2 decades starting with the fuji F10 in 2005.

Your test on CCD vs CMOS a bit wrong approach. It should be out of camera test with non-recipes. Recipes muddy the results.

I have a Nikon Coolpix s3500 and I hate the colours it produces. It's all too saturated imo, too kawaii. I prefer using my Sony Cybershot DSC-W710 instead. The image quality is slightly worse, but the vibe and colour are better imo

I absolutely love the photos and ergonomics of the G12, i've been expending a pretty penny to keep mine in perfectly working condition and will continue to do so. I'm glad you're making this content now, would love to see an Ektachrome recipe for this camera.

For this recipe you use DRE off?

Even though the G12 and G1X are same series G12 and G15 would be a much fairer comparison since the G1X has a sensor many times the size of the G12.

I tried the settings yesterday on the Olympus OMD E-M10 Mark I. The colors of the JPEG images turned out wonderful and are very close to the Porta 400. Most of the photos were taken outdoors in sunshine. Some in window light indoors. Thank you very much!

GX1 is pretty heavier, the mount on gf3 is chamfered making it look more sleek. But anyway, none of those have silent mode, and the shutter sound is so clanky, for me no silent mode for compact mirrorless is a crime.
