Keep at LB8ij, you are doing beautifully well. brings me back to 1975. amazing, this was only 16 wpm rate? I guess the spacing is far apart. When I was first licensed in 1975 finding this wpm QSO and much slower than 16 wpm was common place on the HF bands. I would visit the novice bands often to QSO with Novices. it was so long ago I forgot how slow was slow. edit/ adding. Slow to me was 5 wpm. there were plenty of hams sending under 10 wpm, in the late 70's when I was active.
@LB8IJАй бұрын
Yes, most are quicker these days. It only adds to the callange getting on the air. There are some initiatives on fb that aranges slower qsos and allaso calling cq at slower speed, the oter stations do slow down to answer, so there is hope for those learning.

Mine sends lots of dits like this when the adjustement is off, if I loosen the dits part it gets better. Or maybe if the tension is stronger so moving it to the side doesn't let the paddle connect. Not sure if that's what's up with yours. I did take everything apart and cleaned it up, it's more reliable now.
