I just completed this yesterday. Great fun! Though the ankle-breaker alley section in the video doesn't do the incline or the length justice. The only section that almost wrote me off!

#JamiesRunning Hi. I used the Sacony Pro 2 for running races but for triathlon (mostly the transition) it takes alot of time with the design to get the runner on. Would the Hoka Carbon X be a descent runner to use, comparative to the pro 2. Thanks

Purchased my first pair of the artist today - 90 dollars out the door (including shipping!) Thanks Atreyu for your efforts in trying to restore balance to the rediculous running shoe price boom of the last 3 years! When I hear someobdy say, for example, "This shoe is only 135 dollars so its a pretty fair price" WHAT!! Nothing fair about anything in hyper inflation. Dont use relativity to co-sign rediculous shoe prices! Atreyu, you guys are my heros!

Late comment but I just got my vapor fly next %’s. I tried the runners knot because that’s what I do on all my other shoes. But the laces on the vapor Flys are weird and make it really hard to do a runners knot because of the length and material. How do I need to lace them?

I'm just watching this video now as have ordered a pair of Prime X and just waiting on delivery and been watching a few reviews. But was interested in what you said about the Alphafly's and the arch. I got a pair maybe a year or so ago and done one run which was a 5km PB but after I stopped my arch pain was pretty bad and the next 3 days I couldn't even put them on to even stand in as it was that bad, I ended up sending them back. Anyway fast forward and 7months and I seen a pair on a massive sale at £130 and had seen a short video on KZbin where a guy ripped out the glued in insole from his Alphafly's and replaced them with an insole of his own and solved the problem so at that price I took the gamble and bought them and straight out the box was the arch pain again so just went for it and picked at the insole from the toe end back to the heel and got it all out, tried them on with no insole and the difference and relief was instant so I then took them off and put in an insole from my Nike Vapormax leisure trainers as they have a bit of a extented arch anyway and the Alphafly's felt brilliant on, no arch pain or anything. It feels a completely different shoe when you take the original insole out and put a new one in and you get all the Alphafly's gains with no pain. I don't know if you'll even see this comment as it's an older video but just thought it may help you out if you do as it certainly helped me a lot.

Hi Jamie's, good video on your explanation of runners knot! I have tried on all my running shoe and it works well but, recently i just got a new pair of Pegasus 38 and found out that the laces are way too short to tie runners knot. Any solution for this? Is using 'no-tie' shoe laces can also tie runners knot to replace the traditional shoe laces?

I bought a pair unbelievably on clearance rack for $85. With two bad knees (no cartilage in one knee and 70% left in the other) and restricted to the treadmill I needed a max cushion shoe for my 3 miles runs. To give you an idea how the shoe does prior to my purchase I ran in New Balance 860 on the treadmill which left me SORE for three days. Hard to walk up and down stairs my knees were so sore. With the Nike ZoomX Invincibles my legs recovered that day without the usual soreness associated with running. A great shoe. The best shoe I've found yet.

i went for these because the regular pegasus 37 werent on sale, and nike offered these as a slight discount. since i only use them for walking and light jogging and training, i am not a runner, they should be fine. they seem to fit me fine, as my pegasus 36 trail runners fit great but are coming apart and the sole is worn out.

Hey Big fan of your channel, I am a daily runner from India. I have recently purchased these shoes, but soon after my first run the paint from energy rods came out (maybe as it came in contact with stones). Is it normal? will it impact the durability? did it happen to you as well? Thanks so much in advance!!

I’ve actually grown to really like the Tempo, especially at faster paces. They took a little getting used to, but I eventually clicked with them. I now have a hybrid pair of Tempo midsoles with a Vaporfly upper, and they go great together. Yeah I think you might be right, although I can’t see your YT pic all that well. I can’t think where though - was it at JD??

Maybe I should join, because I fail to see the point of strava. I really have almost 0 interest in other runner's runs.... if it helped me find local, or similar runners doing the same thing, maybe that would be cool to team up or find a running club etc... tracking my runs over a history sounds ok, i think maybe I'm not strava's target audience lol.
@Jamies.Running2 жыл бұрын
Some of the newer functionality is cool - you can discover and plot routes etc. Maybe worth checking out 👌🏼
