Hello from across the pond in California! I am very intrigued by this shoe. Can't go wrong for the price point of $100. I love the Saucony Endorphin Speed but did not like the feel of the Pro. I think I will pre-order a pair. If they have great success, they are likely to raise the price! From your description and those of others, I think this shoe will work for me.

It's a really great shoe for the price, definitely worth picking up a pair!

Nice to see a review done by somebody with a larger foot like mine. Its always weird to hear reviews for size 8's. My 9 year old wears a size 8 :)

Haha I was a size 9 when I was 9, thankfully my feet stopped growing when I was 13! 😄

@@Jamies.Running yeah I'm a 13 or 14 depending on the make and style. Great job on the channel!

Purchased my first pair of the artist today - 90 dollars out the door (including shipping!) Thanks Atreyu for your efforts in trying to restore balance to the rediculous running shoe price boom of the last 3 years! When I hear someobdy say, for example, "This shoe is only 135 dollars so its a pretty fair price" WHAT!! Nothing fair about anything in hyper inflation. Dont use relativity to co-sign rediculous shoe prices! Atreyu, you guys are my heros!

I'm definitely using them as super cushioned training wear. Not sure about Carbon plate, but I'm a non believer in those anyway, much more hype than reality in my view. Fabulous cushioning especially for old legs

Great to hear you’re enjoying the shoe - I’m certainly looking forward to more miles in these 👌🏼

The perceived effort was exactly the same for me .the unstable movement in the heal and the no feel carbon plate was how I seen it too . however i did like them glad I bought them

Can’t really go wrong at that price👌🏼

Based on sizing in the Atreyu base model, I went 1/2 size down in the Artist and glad I did. First run was a very positive impression. Going to take them out again this afternoon for a longer run. Thanks for the review!

You'll find the footbed takes 10-20km to mould to your specific foot/bone geometry. Once the footbed beds in and you cinch laces an extra 5-10% and you'll find 80% of your turning and heel stability will resolve. Not perfect, but mostly resolved as they and you integrate.

Great review. 👍 Have to admit I've not come across your channel before but definitely +1 subscribers here. 🙌 Can't wait to try my pair of The Artist, they landed just after me picking up an injury. Very annoying.

Hey Stuart, thanks so much for watching (and subscribing! 👊🏼), it really means a lot. Hopefully you’re back at it soon, let me know how that first run in The Artist goes when you do get round to it 👌🏼

@@Jamies.Running cheers. I was planning on using them in a couple of weeks to go for a sub 3 marathon on my 40th birthday (over 5 years since my last marathon and last sub 3). Injury has knocked that on the head but these things happen. Look forward to you next video, and going back through what I've missed. 👍

Yeah the taxes and shipping got me! I’m running the same size as most of my other running shoes, so I’d advise the same 👌🏼

Great review as always Jamie! Took mine out for an easy 5k today after 4 weeks off resting and injury. Very similar impressions to you. Love the midsole, feel like they hit the sweet spot with cushioning. Plate doesn’t pop like some of the other big boys but for $100 still gave great energy return at a fast pace. Actually felt they performed better at an easy pace than my adios pro. My one regret is I went up 1/2 size and they are very roomy. I had the same heel and forefoot slippage that I’m hoping can be helped with tighter lacing and a runners knot. Keep up the great work!

Great review. Jamie. I just got my pair a few days ago and felt really good about them after a three mile treadmill tempo session. Next up is a virtual half marathon next weekend. Can’t wait to see how they do!

Awesome stuff Dave, glad your first run in them went well. And best of luck in your virtual half! 👊🏼
