@@craigmanahan6431 many variables here. Is the compressor running normally i .e., does it cycle on and off, does it run continuously, is it making any clicking noise when the compressor starts ? What’s the low-side pressure while running? NEED MORE INFO. The most common problem I find with the freezer on this model is the starter. If you have an amp meter you could check the running amps, that might give a clue as to what’s going on in the sealed system.

@SubZeroSpecialists19 күн бұрын
@@craigmanahan6431 put your amp meter on the purple wire going into the relay starter. You could go to our website and lookup the running amps for your model compressor which you can find under technical specifications. If your running amps is significantly lower than what it call for then you may have a Freon leak or an insufficient compressor. Checking the back pressure on the low -side (suction line) will yield more accurate results. You’ll need a compound gauge and a piercing valve to get into the system . We have videos on how to do that. One word of caution here, if you’re a DIY. person shut the unit down before you pierce the line and check the pressure, if you have a Freon leak you might be running in a vacuum and could suck in air witch is is detrimental to a sealed system. Back-pressure should be between 1-3 psi or close.
