Weird upload, but sure, you do you. At least I fully agree with your opinion in the description, that's how it should always be with AI. A fun tool for messing around, but in no fucking way allowed in stuff that basically replaces real people on mass scale

Is CS2 surfing a thing? That was the most fun I ever had in CS.
@jammygeez4 ай бұрын
There were a bunch of ports of classic surf maps when it was in beta that worked. the lighting only stretched so far and it would just be lit flat because it didn't have proper tools there's probably working ones now and I don't know what it's like on servers or even how the community servers work now
@Sauce7874 ай бұрын
CS2 surfing is broken, for some reason Counter-Strike on Source 2 is full of ramp bugs that stop your momentum and ruin surfing maps. People have made server plugins to try to remedy this, but there's still kind of janky

Genuinely CS2 is such a nothingburger. Not to mention all the weird censorship and sanitization they're doing to appeal more broadly, as if the game wasn't big enough already... Thank goodness you can still just play CSGO with the beta branch thing. The fact they replaced it was the dumbest decision they made with CS2 by far.

Which voice is this AI voice based on?

Honestly, seeing gen AI vids of any kind is disheartening. Justifying it in any way (including saying that it's just for a joke) helps to normalise it, which I can imagine is the exact opposite of what many of us want.

@@Discount_TV It adds things people otherwise wouldn't have access to. Much more value is created than is lost. Nobody could reasonably afford an artist to draw their D&D campaign in real time for example. Its been empowering me to turn the song text ideas I had in my head into actual music others can listen to. All stuff that can not traditionally be done. And empowering millions is more important to me than the much fewer jobs that are lost.

People are finally realising what I learned 2 decades ago: CS Sucks. It has always sucked. It's not a Valve problem or a "neglect" problem, nor is it recent, the game is just badly designed and always has been. The stagnation of picking 3 weapons, the rote and boring "roaming" gameplay, have all been there since at least cs 1.6. The game has bad gameplay that has always massively disincentivised alternate strategies which is why top level play always looks the same.
@gbacl4 ай бұрын
Ahah yes... The game that keeps going for 20 years, just reach a new peak player count and has been practically a staple of online fps is definitely suck-y. You really are the illuminated here 😂

CS is better than ever! For sure we want CS2 to be even better and have everything CSGO had + new stuff. I play since 2014 and had times where I left for other games like OW1 or Rocket League but CS is forever. OW2 and Rocket League are fun with friends but they have their own problems. We got a lot of what we wanted from Valve but still cry like little children on Christmas eve because we didn't get the newest iPhone. Ngl you sound like an old grandpa that is just pessimistic and thinks WW3 will breakout any day, which I gotta say is fair and I can't blame you. I just don't get that in a general sense. Not just in CS but in life at whole. You can literally replace it with "People are finally realising what I learned 2 decades ago: Life Sucks".

@@jammygeez honestly? most people that i watch use AI now get by by either using it as a supplement to their clever or funny ideas. i feel like tyler just types some stuff into an AI and lets it rip, making the focus less about what he made and more about the AI content, which is bad since AI generated content is not inherently funny or good
@jammygeez4 ай бұрын
@@512px I can see that but I don't think this is really replacing his content; he doesn't monetise it so there's no real incentive for him to make this stuff other than he wants to so I don't think it's down to laziness or poor content. And maybe this is down to personal preference but I found it funny even if I wouldn't endorse it as carefully crafted genius content
