Thanks so much! I forgot to include it, but I made a big map of my version of Tidmouth Yard that I referred to while I was filming. If I make a commentary I'll definitely include it! I put a lot of effort into making the sets look somewhat cohesive since most of the story takes places in only one or two locations, so thanks for noticing!

This is awesome! I love all your references, nuances, & jokes. I noticed you switched it from Douglas masquerading with Donald's tender (RWS) to Donald masquerading with Douglas' tender- very sneaky :D I think my favorite line comes from James "See Topham, this is why tender engines don't shunt coaches, we have no idea what we're doing!" Instead of the snooty 'tender engines don't shunt because we are above it', its' "we don't shunt because we are incompetent' very nice touch XD Thomas' "or else" was also golden :) Very well done, I really enjoyed this :D

I've been legit fascinated by your videos for a while now They have the perfect of Homemade charm but professional film making (If that makes sense Lol) I love how even Donald gets confused with the whole number swapping thing "Their looking for you! I mean me!" Had me laughing so hard. And I LOVE The connection between Thomas and Douglas I've never noticed that the both of them came to Sodor by mistake. It's such an interesting thing to point out about the two. Just out of curiosity, How did make the dirt fly up when Douglas' Tender crashed into the embankment? Either way This was great Sorry for the long comment Can't wait to see more^^

Oh my gosh thank you so much!! That seriously means so much to know! And yes, I see what you mean and I'm glad to hear it! I had to ask my dad to use his model ship for Thomas' flashback and my mom to use her potting soil for the tender crash, so my videos are still very much homemade haha. This was probably the most fun I had writing and recording a video. And yes, I was very excited when I remembered Thomas' backstory and how to tie it back to Douglas. Their shed scenes was the hardest to write, so I'm glad to hear it was effective! As for the tender crash, I launched a pile of dirt in the air with a Lego plate, filmed it in slow-motion on my iPhone, and covered it up with a bush in post. I included some of the unedited takes and overhead pictures in my Behind-The-Scenes if you'd like a better look! kzbin.info/www/bejne/foHZp5iQo7yle6ssi=7IlfRkZAd-k01tJ9&t=125 Thank you again so much for all the kind words - I love long comments! Well, like quite a few have, I got brought here because of Tug/Nic, and I must say I’m quite impressed with this. The way you expanded the original story was brilliant, with the coach antics turned up to 11 and several of the character bits. Thomas being the notable addition. Him being furious with the twins at first only to help out in the end? Felt quite Classic Thomas to me. I could also tell you were having a blast making this, and a lot of moments made me chuckle. Thomas’ well cut scream and the tender bit were notable examples. To top it all off, the fact that this was all made with models on sets, especially the Bachmann ones, was a treat to see. My true Thomas fan days may be behind me, but I still respect the show at the end of the day. A lot of the fan content I have seen has been exceptional, and this is one such piece. Can totally see why Nic shouted it out. Excellent work, sir.

After years of seeing so many remakes of this 'lost' episode, this one is probably the standout of the whole lot. Not only is it so different, but it's EXTREMELY entertaining. I love how many elements of Thomas' eras are incorporated into this like a tasty blended mix of the best of all eras. Not to mention how much of clever in-jokes are sprinkled throughout. The added bits of incorporating more of the other characters, particularly Thomas, Annie & Clarabel, is so unique yet feels so natural. This whole story is so character driven, and Thomas absolutely steals the spotlight in such a satisfying way. He may be a cheeky, short tempered fusspot, but it shows when the going gets tough, he's still a good friend. I really love that. All combined with some excellent model work, snappy dialog, and tight editing, this deserves two thumbs up, Will!
