Hey everybody! I hope you enjoyed my two Character Galleries last weekend! This video features deleted footage, HD images, and outtakes for every shot I filmed specifically for the Character Gallery. Seeing the "behind the buffers" of your videos are always a treat to watch. It is just amazing how much work had went into these videos, everything was simply incredible!

Aw thank you! I'm glad these Behind-The-Scenes are still worth making. This was a super fun project, though it did take a lot of work, so I really appreciate it! :)

That's so cool I love how you put the work into the models and that must have been hard to do "A close shave" many times but over all this is the best my overall thing I like most is the noramby beach it's one of my favorites so good job in doing all this!
@SootyWill5 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! The Close Shave crash did take a long time, but resetting it for each take wasn't that hard surprisingly. I'm so glad you liked Norramby Beach too, it's one of my favorites. It was definitely the messiest set I've ever made though - the sand turned to mud within 10 seconds lol Thanks again! :)

Sry if I didn't comment but I know that taking real life crashes and shots is really hard when there is something that went wrong or jammed but I glad you make that video and makes me nostalgic because it's like their own segment similar to the learning segment

Thanks so much! The crashes took a long time to set up and a few takes to get right, so I appreciate it!

Always love a good behind the buffer's video. Show's all of the hard work you put into everything you do. We as fan's love the end product and it shows those who aren't content creators the level of intricate detail you need for these projects. Fantastic work as always ☺️🚂🚃

This is fascinating to watch and see just how much effort you put into this! It’s clear how creative you get with these videos! Now questions: I see you got a Hornby Bear! Will he be appearing in any future videos? How did you light up the Chinese dragon? And what was that Thomas used in the Stationmaster House crash?
@SootyWill5 ай бұрын
Aw thanks! This project was super fun but still a lot of work, so I appreciate it! 1.Yes! I somehow managed to get Hornby Bear. I don't have any episodes written for him yet but I'll definitely be using him! 2. The Chinese Dragon's lights are a string of tiny LED Christmas lights, powered by a button cell battery. I stuffed the string of lights inside the Chinese Dragon by unscrewing his base, then I hid the button and battery under the tarp on the flatbed in front. 3. That Thomas was the 2004 Musical Thomas from TOMY. Dug him out from the old toy box for that shot. Thanks for taking interest in all this! I love answering questions about my videos :)

Pretty good T&F: Back On Track Gallery Behind The Buffers video, Sooty 👍🚂✨ You made my day the best was yesterday of your Thomas & Friends: Back On Track Gallery part 1 and 2 videos 😄👍✨ Oh yeah, that reminds me. I was wondering what anyone else used their Trainz games to make remake videos of your Thomas & Friends: Back On Track series. That'd be pretty good and amazing. ✨

Aw thank you! This was one of the most fun videos I've ever made. I got to make so many sets - stations, yards, quarry, docks, smelter's - so I'm so glad you liked the final product! I've seen people remake some stories of mine in Roblox, but not Trainz yet. Thanks again! :)

great video as always. love the behind-the-scenes stuff. I had a idea for ya what if you did the gallery idea again bit with custom characters? You look like you have engines that you could make faces for and create characters with. i would love to see some American locos mixed in. Also nice touch with the nick wink and the intro and end. Again if you need any help please dont hesitate to contact me. do you have a community discord by the way?
@SootyWill5 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! I really enjoy making these so I'm glad to hear it. I am thinking about making a Part 3, but I'll probably stick with Thomas characters. You could totally make a gallery of custom American locos though! That'd be really cool! I do have Discord, though I'm not very active on it. Thanks for watching :)

Great seeing the behind the scenes. Which scene would you say was the hardest to film?
@SootyWill5 ай бұрын
Thanks! Glad you liked it. I'd say the hardest shot was either the hurricane from Emily, the avalanche from Bill & Ben, or the "smelting pit" from Arry & Bert. The first two because they made a huge mess and I had to stich together bits and pieces from the best takes (in the final video there are 4-5 video layers stitched together), and the smelting pit took a lot of trial and error to get the right look. I tried dyed water, mixing in paint, and eventually used hand soap to make the molten slag. Thanks for asking!

@SootyWill27 күн бұрын
No definitely not. For Henry, I took out his chassis, so that just his plastic body shell was in the water - no electric or metal parts. And for Toby, I put him on the bridge above water level and prayed that he wouldn't fall in haha. Definitely don't put your trains in water!
