The fact he calls the character of Gord a retard in a review of a movie that actually has a dignified role for a character with a disability kinda says it all

The screen play for this movie is second only to China Town. It’s right up there with the other classics and has a great message and moral compass.

I agree with these guys as far as bashing Tom Green goes. He sucks big time. Never liked him at all. But David Spade and Joe Dirt both kick ass!

Chris Farley was funny to me. I loved Tommy Boy.This was a cheap imitation of that movie. There were a few funny scenes but most of them fell flat. Gary Busey was really funny here, especially when he take off his fake leg, but Farley was saddled with a bad script. I agree with both that it was bad, but I've seen much worse.

Three smash hits in a span of six months is pretty insane Jim Carry was HUGe in the 90’s of course

Not only was Evert completely off in his review here, but he comes across as a pompous, overbearing chuavanist. Let the lady finish her comments - you could tell she was concise and in the middle of wrapping up when he insistenly butted in ‘let me talk, let me talk’. I typically like Ebert and concur with many of his reviews, but he was simply all out of sorts here.

Roger talked a bunch of shit about good ol Farley. Well now he's dead. But not before having his face carved like a thanksgiving turkey, resulting in his mug resmbling a Jim Henson Muppet. You see kids, movies are am art and art is a thing of beauty. Just like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder. Just because two crusted out decrepit wind sacks think something is trash does not automatically make it so. Seriously even when I was a kid, who tf would watch this crap?

Tom Green trolled everyone, including the movie company that green lit all that money to blow up a house, and that's why the movie is hilarious. If brainrot was a movie, it would be Freddy Got Fingered (and I'm not saying as an insult)

Funny Enough Durning Developement The Film Did Get A NC-17 Rateing For Several Scenes Includeing The Infamous Ending Where Timmy Really Did Die However Dued To Skillful Editing Technics It Narrowly Avoided It So Ebert Is On Point With It Shouldve Been Rated NC-17 Thats The Highest Rateing

Personally, I loved the first movie. The second movie was decent but nowhere near as good as the first although the storyline was very compelling!

Does Roeper seriously think that he was more respected as a movie critic than Tom Green was a comedic actor?
