How do u know to get a new sensor or to just clean it
@NexusAuto
@NexusAuto Күн бұрын
@EA-xd1jr there is actually tests someone can do to check the function of a sensor with a multimeter and/or a scanner, but most won't know how to check that. This is more of a 'spin a little money in hopes of saving a lot of money' thing. A can of cleaner doesn't cost much, so it's worth trying before replacement.

Car heats but not hot enough. What is problem
@NexusAuto
@NexusAuto 4 күн бұрын
@donderksen5331 there can be quite a few problems. Is the fan blowing air when you adjust it? Can you hear the blend doors moving inside when you adjust the vents and the temperature? It'll sound like a motor noise from behind the dashboard. Also, does the heater core have coolant flowing through it? Both the inlet and outlet hoses should be hot when the car is at full temp, with the outlet hose being slightly cooler. It's 2 rubber hoses that attach to the firewall of the car, near the middle right. If the heater core is clogged, then no or very little coolant gets through and you won't get heat

Most people don't know or understand how cold air cone type filter works.... An exposed "cold air filter" don't add any benefits or its very minimum unless you block the head that is produced by the engine on a normal operation. The idea to modify the stock air box (free solution) is a great way to maximize the usage of the cone type filter. Good job 👏 👍 👌

Thank you for lots of helpful videos Now I have check engine light I scanned in auto zone and I have Mass or Volume Air Flow Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance P0101 I buy new sensor and replace. Still have check engine light. You think I need after replacing I need do some reset.
@NexusAuto
@NexusAuto 5 күн бұрын
@marcinpiela4954 hi there. Thank you, I'm happy to hear the videos are helpful! Yep, you are right, the check engine light needs to be reset. There is 3 ways to do this. 1. The guaranteed way is to have a shop with a scanner hook up to the car and reset the light. I'm not sure if auto zone does this. 2. You can disconnect the negative battery for about and hour, then connect it back up. This doesn't always work, and will likely reset a lot of other settings, like the stereo. 3. You can drive around for a while, and if the car feels like everything has been working, it may reset itself. However, that can happen in a couple of days, or a few weeks. The only problem with number 2 and number 3, is if there is another issue that's causing the check engine light, you won't know that for sure. But pending that the sensor replacement issue was fixed, any of these 3 would work.

I did the throttle cleaning when I changed my spark plugs ( as you recommended in your spark plug change video 😁), did your car perform relearning after you cleaned the throttle body? I just wanted to thank you for this vid. Now I can rest easy going on a road trip with my family (my pass light was out). I have a 2017 qx60, but I wasn't able to have a comfortable grip for both light bulbs. I had the hardest time with the prongs that hold the bulb into place. I found out you had to squeeze and push back. Maybe mine was just stubborn and I didn't want to break it. I just changed my in cabin filter and ended up breaking the cover latch.... I found it much accessible going through the wheel well cover. It was a few screws and some fanagling to get the cover to fold back enough to squeeze your arm through. All in all, thanks for the instructions and this helped me get it done. Appreciate you man!

@danieleskenazi856 unfortunately, not easy. They're not easily removed, like standard bulb. The whole handle assembly needs to be removed and beyond that, I'm not sure how much disassembly of the handle is required to get to the bulb. I'm also not sure what the replacement LED would be..as in the code. It's probably a smaller generic LED. But this is all guesswork on my end. After I checked them out on my JX, I can see it doesn't look very easy to do, sadly. But I never tried doing it at this point

But sometimes, we gotta move on from a car if it's becoming more of an issue that it's worth. I do know we've had quite a few interactions on here. I'm really happy to hear that these videos helped out. Camry is a great replacement choice. Hopefully you find a suitable one at a great price! Thanks for the great support and for watching!

Hey do u recommend this vehicle? Just bought a 2014 and it's super clean and runs perfect no lights on dash brand new tires etc I couldn't resist lol I'm just worried about the CVT bc I read horrible things about it 😢
@NexusAuto
@NexusAuto 29 күн бұрын
@HeyItsKayJayBae so, I'm kinda biased to this vehicle. But I will tell you from my experience, they are great SUVs. I've had mine for 8 years now and aside from regular maintenance and a failed AC compressor, it's been great! I've hauled a full car load of people, tons of tools, gone on trips with it, and not a problem. the 2 main things to watch out for is the CVT and the transfer case (if you have AWD). But as long as you do regular maintenance (like a drain and fill on the fluids on both), you should only be fine. Not to worry you, but my only concern with your purchase is how much mileage it has and if the previous owner kept up maintenance. If all the looks good, and you keep the maintenance up, you should get many years of great driving with it

@RonAnton-i8v Ай бұрын
What did you do when piston gets compressed,the brake fluid gets pushed out from the master cylinder reservoir ?
@NexusAuto
@NexusAuto Ай бұрын
@RonAnton-i8v yep. So as long as you don't have a brake leak or contamination, it would be fine. I always open up the reservoir to prevent pressure build up. If the brake fluid level has been topped up, just siphon some out beforehand so it doesn't overflow over the engine

Hello. How to fix my low beam that is not working on 2006 Pontic Grand Prix. Bulbs good, fuse
@NexusAuto
@NexusAuto Ай бұрын
@georgejoseph-n8e that is nothing I could fix over the net, unfortunately. Low beam is a simple system, so it's basically the headlight switch in the car, to the fuse, to the bulb itself. There is wiring and the harnesses in between all that. So anything in that system could be wrong. If the fuse and bulb is definitely good, then it may be a harness or wiring issue. If I were there, I would have my multimeter out and would be testing along the circuit for 12 v from the battery (with the low beam on, of course). When I lose my electrical current, that's where the problem is. But that's something that has to be done in person
