The reason compressing flammable gases is dangerous. Imagine you have a foot by foot cube and your compressing it to an inch by inch cube. All of the heat that is in that foot by foot is now being compressed into an inch by inch. So the heat by volume increases rapidly. Similar to what you would do with the magnifying glass using the Sun to burn objects.

3:07 Most reliable part of the video fr fr. Also u re underrated as fuck bro, shame you stopped making vids I think that if you had kept making stuff like this you d have hit it big by now. It just takes some time until the algorythm makes one or two of your vids blow up and I believe that d have happened for sure with vids like these. Hope u r doing well tho, cheers

Looks like the nightcam eagle 3 v2 is a whole lot better now and it does color surprisingly well. Would be cool to try this, only thing I notice is real hard to find is the near eye display. Wonder if doing a dual setup with some cheap FPV goggles would do it.

Did you really just compress a H2/O2 gas mixture? :O Just turning that ball valve could cause a spark. Omg.

Is there any kind of flame arrester that can keep it from traveling back into the tank when fuel runs out and fills with vapor and air that's been pulled in through the cap

I have tested my electrolyzer unfortunately it went kaboom! What happened was the terminal that I have used heat up due to high resistance it was consuming 70A at 12V and I let it go coz I wanted to find it's limits sure enough it did found it limits. last time when I checked the temperature of the terminal was 70°C pressure was 0.1bar it was a mixed gas O² & H². I wish I had a video of it I went deaf for 5min after the detonation that was super scary.

Is something similar possible for (x / 1)⁴ + (y / 1)⁴ = 1 ??? I want to design a squircle in Fusion 360 but can't figure out how to to it...
@vladsimon9873
@vladsimon9873 4 ай бұрын
Hi, you could move one of the unknowns to the right. For example move x to the right and solve for y which you get by aplying 4th root so y=(1^4*(1-(x/1)^4))^1/4 and from there just apply the formula in Excel to get as many values as you like.

I hope you don't earn a Darwin award. That "experiment" was dangerous and your desire to make a "light gas gun" seems foolhardy at best. You may want to search for "hydrogen embrittlement". It's caused by hydrogen gas infiltrating metals causing them to become brittle. It occurs in steel as well as other metals.

Does positive pressure impede the electrolysis process, and the production of HHO gas by creating an environment where the gas is not allowed to expand freely? Will extreme pressures cancel the electrolysis process and prevent the individual atoms from being “freed”?

Dude, there's a reason you don't find many "full tang" wood chisels. The handle is very important for softening the blow of the hammer and dampening the vibrations. Full tang chisels are used in forges because wood couldn't withstand the heat.

Don't need heat pressure does the heating, opening the valve too quickly will heat the nozzle exhaust significantly

I see you answer one of the questions that how long it took and wasn’t bad that was a silly fast by any chance how hot or the temperature reached inside any idea ? Or do you think some steam helped the pressure ? Or pure hho
@HappyMadScientist
@HappyMadScientist Жыл бұрын
I didn’t measure temperature unfortunately. Temperature data would have definitely been super helpful for any thermodynamic calculations. Ahh well… next time 👍. It was definitely hot to the touch after I released the pressure though. However, steam would not be adding to the pressure imo because the boiling point of water at an absolute pressure of 400 psi is 445 F. It was nowhere close 445 F let alone 212F. So I think it was “pure” hydrogen and oxygen
