Wait a minute. I live in a non-HOA neighborhood in Atlanta by choice and you just can't do anything. They still must abide by the city law. I have neighbors who were forced to go to court for junky yards. Sure my neighborhood don't look as nice as HOA ones but it has improved and will keep improving as the city cost of living increases in my opinion

So, you bring up a really good point that I failed to mention in the video. In Georgia, there's is something called a "Nuisance Law" that prevents neighbors from becoming a major nuisance by playing loud music, allowing dogs to bark all night, TRASHY YARDS, etc.. It's not the easiest law to implement bc much of the "nuisance" is subjective, but it's a great law to have in place. Sounds like you live in one of those areas. What suburb are you in if you don't mind me asking?

Good info. Don't forget Sales Taxes! City of Atlanta 9% versus unincorporated Cobb County 6%. 😉 And only 2% on groceries. I have lived in metro Atlanta for 35 years. I've heard many conversations about the expansion of Marta. I'll believe it when I see it.😂 Annual Georgia State Parks pass. If you go at least once a month, it pays for itself. (Obviously, it won't work for National Parks in the area.)

My mom's old house was 15/20 feet from the high voltage line. 132 kv. We got hit by the lines two times our concrete wall was touched by the current. Our whole house lost electricity for weeks. Whole new wiring. I was scared a lot. 24 hours buzzing sound. It was before 5 years. Now we are out of the risk.

Hi. We currently live in north Atlanta, but are considering a move to south Atlanta to buy a new construction home. The ONLY reason that we are considering the move is because of the large square footage we can get for our money in south Atlanta. We are looking at homes in the high 500s to low 600s and can get approx 3700-3900 square feet in the Stockbridge/McDonough area. We could not come close to that square footage for the price in north Atlanta. However. our hesitation stems around a concern that we will miss the "feel" of the north side. If we pursue moving to south Atlanta for the larger home, is this a sound decision? Also, we like the results/shopping & dining experience of a balanced racial mix. Will the move to an area that is 70-75% black be that different? Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

Wrong. We've been sold a pile of BS about the sun all of our lives. We need it's Vit D3 exposure for our immune systems and overall health. Be very afraid of those that avoid the sun with their crazy conspiracy theories! Get outside....it's good for your health!
@walther89
@walther89 22 сағат бұрын
@@LivinginAtlanta Yes, stay outside but not all the time. Sound more like a fitness instructor then a physicist Human use sunscreen for longer exposure or you just keep burning your skin. Darker skin people have the tolerance but they also burn, if you just keep siting at the sun whole day, report me how you feel :). Point is, UV radiation is just stronger then a so say lamp on your desk or a mobile phone which is more less harmful then a lamp. Basics people. Basics. Go to Germany, Narda HQ go learn a bit there. Europeans take it more seriously there. There are all kind of man made devices. Nobody complains.

What is the point to avoid living beside the substation lines if the reading was showing 3 mg , while we get higher reading beside electronic devices at home??
