There were only four mercenaries of note you can hire - Kobayashi, Jennifer "Dark Angel", Hans "Big Bear" Hasenfield, and some white guy named Reaper. I think those were the only four who had unique lines of audio when you ordered them around (or if they ejected and fled or died).

Man... I know this was a kids show and meant to be campy... but even beyond that, it was still SO good. So very few things were as true to their source material at this time. Let alone a cartoon that was meant for kids, who likely would have no concept of the lore behind what was happening. So impressive and so sad that it ended here.

It was early 1997, on a Saturday. I was 12. My friend's big brother had Mechwarrior 2 playing on his, at the time, state-of-the-art gaming rig patched into a couple big speakers and then this played and we just sat with root beers and listened.

Wow, I been deep into Mechwarrior since MW2 in 1997 and I have never heard this track. That was the Matrox Mistique enhanced version so I guess this track was missing to make space. Awesome I can still find new tracks for this game.

"Information is ammunation" and then dont interrogate or allow to understand the bondsman and clan way with a very big and important asset ..in season 2 if happen would see Steiner scout lance for gathering intel ? 😂 Him had the Intel (his mission) in his hands !

I spent *way* too many hours playing this, back in college. I may or may not have this entire soundtrack burned into my subconscious now. Man, does this bring back some truly good memories. :)

It sure does. I remember getting the game on CD the year it came back, which is 1995! It was my birthday present which included the Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro, the awesome manual with all the lore and hand drawn mechs, items etc. II got it when it was released, but my parents made it so I wasnt allowed to play it for a couple months until my actual birthday! those jerks lol All I could do was imagine playing the game, holding the joystick, listening to this thumping soundtrack in a CD player and reading the manual :D It was worth the wait. Loved that game soo much. It ran quite well on the trusty old 486 dx4 100

I remember holding this box at the computer swap meet my father took me to in 1995. I got this game, the full version of DOOM and DOOM II and a underrated game called Bioforge. It was the best day of my life, as far as I can recall.
