How come when you look the series up, don patch is the main character?

I just finished the show after only learning about its existence a few days ago and I must say that I enjoyed every moment of it. It's hilarious, emotional, thought-provoking, and it's the perfect length. The whole series felt like one perfect story wrapped up with a nice little bow. Not to mention no cliffhanger bulshit. 10/10 would watch again.

Bobobo I will admit I never really understood the concept of the show because I was so use to DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Zatch Bell, etc growing up as a kid that I didn’t understand the jokes and thought it was corny but now that I’m much older i def see the comedic humor

This show is good, but it also feels like someone desperately needed to sit the author down and explain the concept of “sometimes less is more” 😂 I still love it though

To be honest I love Attack on titan because of its mystery element but it can be a bit gory and bloody so if someone can handle all that I think they will like this anime

Watching Bobobo was like finding a show that validates all of your ADHD. Everyone else around you is going "what the hell is this?! Why did that happen?! Why can't they stay on track?!" and you're just their vibing like "Hah! Yes, love it!"

the message is: you arent doing it wrong, if nobody knows what youre doing. so just have fun, as long as you get the point across. i havent seen it before though, so i may be completely wrong.

Funnily enough, the spanish dub was incredibly good for this series; it was done by a grop of people who directly ignore the plot whenever it's not funny in the language, change plots, names and whatever else to make it work. (For example, the scene with the alien and rice becomes a bttle between rice with tea, and rice with eggs (arroz a la cubana); and many words and wordplay is changed completely. it is a great spanish dub, I'd say superior to the engllish one. As another example, the Nato joke becomes a "oh god this man is trying to kidnap the "students" to eat them, the spanish verison also adds a bunch of different text and splash texts for attacks on top of the thing for added stupidity sometimes.

E rated Jojo with a side of absolute unseriousness. Taking itself seriously would simply not be this show; it knows this and relies on this. To put it in modern terms, it is G5 Luffy as a show, 20 years before G5 was even a thing and barely around when Luffy's Gears were even a thing.

this is one of those anime where you're like "why did they put the time and effort into this instead of putting it into an actually good anime" I"M NOT SAYING IT"S BAD I'm just saying that there is other manga out there around that time which would have been amazing if it had an anime adaptation, but never got one.

Hunter hunter is the worst with dialogue. Sometimes almost to the point that the entire page is just covered in walls of text. This show was a great break from the seriousness of other shows.

So, essentially this show is the Japanese equivalent of "Spaceballs"? Both parity very popular stories in media and, both are more gags and jokes rather than actual storytelling.

Propably craziest anime I ever watch, glad that they air this in Poland, sad not all because absurdity of this show can be compared propably to things like Monty Python. Also I prefer to watch this in english/polish dub, funnier for me than natural Japan voices.

We see Iruka fight 1 person. Mizuki, a ninja is the same level who may have been hiding his strength. Ebisu we see even less. Yeah, Jaraiya folds him with no trouble, but he’s the freaking Toad Sage.

I have a really distinct feeling that its gonna pop off as an Anime. It feels like the manga has a slow pace and the enviroments do not pop as much as they want to. I think in motion and full colour, it'll really come alive and feel great to watch

5:55 the creators of the show confirmed in the dvd extras that they didn't plan a lot of the show's major plot points until season two, including old man mcgucket's story. The memory loss gun and the society of the blind eye were conceptualised as an explanation to mcgucket's lunacy. Its actually insane how a lot of the stuff that makes complete sense and seem like they would've been planned way in advance in this show were actually written during season 2.
