Christopher, thank you for sharing yourself, your talents, your lovely soul, and your beautiful home with us. Bear with me here haha - I am a 47yo man who lives alone, is moderately disabled, and largely homebound. This year, I decided after a lifetime of not really decorating for Christmas I was going to make up for lost time and go ALLLLLLLL the way out haha because (you helped me realize) it brings me joy. I started planning in July, mostly with inspiration from your videos. I have aquired lots and lots of things (two BH trees) which we've seen you make so beautiful and am about halfway through putting them up (slow, fun). Finally, like so many others have said, this specific week has been, for some of us (me), traumatizing and scary due to the election. So many of us are feeling fear and anxiety (I've cried once a day all week lol all good it's cathartic). This video especially, with its content and timing, is enormously comforting to my soul and your gentle, kind personality reminds me/us that people can be kind. My point in (over? lol) sharing all this is simply to illustrate for you the impact that you have on people. I am just one viewer and, for me, you have made a particularly outsized difference in my life. I will end this novel (which any sane person would have made a DM after the first sentence lol but whatever - solidarity feels right) just as I began - truly, my friend - thank you for sharing yourself, your talents, your lovely soul, and your beautiful home with us. Enjoy your new tree! I actually found mine in a Home Depot early October - happened to go into the store while shopping with my grandma & joked that we should check to see if they had it (as I was pretty sure it would be sold out). I quickly looked over the stacks of tree boxes and didn't see it or any sign for it. My grandma took a second look and noticed that there was just one of them stacked in with a different tree, so I got it! Fun tree with fun memories! :)
