Built it before i saw its maths was outdated due to updates. I had it working by underclocking until I unlocked blenders and diluted fuel alternate recipe. I replaced the 3 fuel refineries with 2 blenders,, added 2 water extractors and created diluted fuel to feed to generators and packager. Works at 100% now and it makes 2GW (2000MW) power. Thanks for the guide!

@SpectrumDad can you may have a look on 1.0 ? it seems they changed something as it is not working with the block signals at the stations anymore.

fun question... concerning northern forest... how/where do you all build? I found the spot with 3 pure iron... in the clearing on that plateau, with the pure limestone up on that very sketchy drop... with the pure copper just up the hill... the way i set up (once i have foundations) is to build a huge factory platfmor going out over the land and sea below... only thing you can really do up there as far as i know.... i would ramp down the sheer drop below... but there are alpha spitters and hogs down there (next to the wreck) yes... i am asking if i am doing the right thing/building in the right spot mainly... but also interested in what spot you guys build in, within the norther forest :) ... I'm doing something wrong because the BP files I'm putting in my BP folder are preventing that session from loading anymore. Take them out and it runs. With the imported BP's in that folder game won't run. Anyone able to help or experienced this?

I tend to just create whatever the machines need manually, turn on manifold feeding source, wait for the belts to fill up, and then turn on the machines from the last one towards first one in the manifold system. That gives 100% efficiency from the start, provided the good can be created by hand. Doesn't work for higher level items though.

What do y use for power?

Am I missing something? For the stator layout, are you missing some smelters at the beginning? Iron ore doesn’t go into an assembler, it needs to be smelted into ingots first.

I made the mistake of having LONG lines for iron and copper ingots in my most recent factory. Its been over an hour now and I'm still waiting for certain items to start up, but that means I've got some water byproduct that is backing up almost instantly so I put in a buffer and I'm sitting here flushing it while I wait for the lines to fill up.

not alot of explanation here, if you have 360 iron/min how are you using it all if the belts only move 120/min Why only that one iron belt lvl2? After building this ive got a backed up 360/min miner and none of these building are getting fully supplied causing input delays(empty belts)

I finished the game with only one Constructor making Concrete because I NEVER USED FOUNDATIONS

Is the math not mathing? The 10 refineries produce 10m3 of heavy oil residue / min, so 100 total. But the 3 refineries producing fuel requires 60 EACH (30 for the one underclocked). So It requires 150 but it only gets 100... Am I missing something? (This is also why my power is dropping every now and then due to some of these 3 refineries going idle and therefore not producing enough fuel)
