Priscilla , I loved watching this video of you going out with 3 of your children into the Alaskan woods to pick berry's . But I have toiled with mentioning this but I feel lead of the Lord to say it.....Bears love berries too . And I really think you shouldn't go out their without your older sons or your husband who should carry a rifle or at least a pistol....or Bear Spray something . I have seen Alaskans maybe even your family go Blueberry picking on the sides of two mountains near a river that they can cross by foot over to the next hill of where berries grow....but you can see for miles there ,however the family I watch in the same city you live near Wasilla , Home Free Alaska /Tina and Joe and son Parker, always carry pistols., both of them were in the military tho and are Christians as well. but they carry a guns ....just in case a bear is bedding down in the tall scrub or even a moose or deer that gets startled and will pop up and freak out of the human intrusion........ So many bear attacks going on these days it worries me to no end that your out there defenseless.....Well lets see what Joias says about it ......maybe it is just me , I would be scared to death ,to walk in the Alaskan woods , swamps , tall grass with small children and no way to protect them or me.....I pray you will think of those things . God can only protect us so much if we don't use our survival instincts . in otherwards don't walk into a wild life zoo where your in the animals territory and they are not confined to a cage nor are you......

Priscilla, I love all the information you share about what you pick and find in the woods. We also live deep in the forest but I am never sure about what to pick but for the blackberries of which we have acres of. You had a great return on all your work and plenty of offerings from nature. So good to see you foraging ! I love to do that too in Northern BC … did you know that the plantain seed stalk is psyllium ! Weeds are medicine :) I have also used plantain water to smooth burns ! Never had any pain after that .

Yarrow is grown locally in my area for seed. It is actually pronounced as if you are saying car, tar, bar Yarr-ow. 😉😊🥰
