Hi again Dr. My dentist suggested Lanap surgery and I wanted to know if you do this procedure on your patients and if you find that it helps with people who have bone loss and gum recession. I have an excellent oral routine but that developed at age 40. I'm 53 now. I brush, floss,, water floss and use a proxy brush after I eat. I watched your oil pilling last Aug '23 and still do this. It has helped with my teeth staining and a bit with my plaque but my recession and bone loss began awhile ago. Curious what you think about this surgery. It is very expensive

I have started doing OP using a mixture of coconut oil and castor oil (50-50) and swishing for 3-5 minutes. Castor oil apparently expedites the process and so 2-5 minutes is enough. You can use only castor oil (no coconut oil) also. I also add a drop of clove oil to the mixture.
