I have been oil pulling for about two years. I started after I went to a dentist who told me that I needed a deep cleaning that would cost $750. My gums were bleeding and red. So I started and over time I got used to it [20 min in the morning] and my gums became pink and healthy. No more bleeding. I also scrape my tongue after brushing and rinsing, which also helps. Americans as a rule use mouthwash which is a terrible idea. The mouth has its own microbiome and oil pulling does not destroy that. Mouthwash does. So, love the video and oil pulling. Highly recommend!!

What is the frequency of OP? What is the microscopic process going on behind OP? That would define the frequency. Take the case of feet fungus. The process to remove fungus is repeated process daily, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day, for long time, 2 years or so to eradicate it. Is the removal of bacteria & toxins is like fungus (embedded/micro layered), takes time to soften, loosen, extricate. Is there a recursive process going on? Means, Oil Pulling > extrication > more toxins, bacteria > Return to Front Do you have any other Ayurvedic Hacks (in a great way, the word “hack” has swag, oomf like 💐) For Wellness of the body. I love them. A story in my life. I was in pain for 9 years, in back & legs while walking. I tried many doctors here in USA. Finally, I landed up in Delhi, in Ayurvedic Hospital, 29 days of Panchkarma Therapy followed by steam sauna, daily, with complete bed rest. I was good for next 10 years. I was supposed to be cautious about my back, because of scoliosis too. One day I stretched my self while pulling a box from a van, and on 3rd day, I was back to Delhi hospital, 10 days therapy and I was good but total course was 20 days, without bed rest. Faith in Ayurveda. Blessings & Best Wishes. 🕉💐💕🎶🎉 प्राकृतिक अमृत 🙏अश्वनी

I knew about oil pulling many years ago but didn’t think much of it as it seemed like a queer practice. Then i watched a few other videos & decided to try it as i had a bit of pain in my gums. I used my normal palm cooking oil. It was interesting to see the murky texture after doing it from its original clear yellowish oil colour. The next day to my astonishment, the pain had gone! And another interesting thing was that i had very 'pretty' smooth stools! 😂 I felt healthier and it was just overnight! I only comment here and not in the other videos bc it is a rare thing to have a professional dentist to advise on oral dental care. Most doctors and dentists nowadays forget the Hippocratic Oath, and only care about their pockets. God will bless you for your kindness and generosity. Amen.

I was living in Europe when I started having pain in one wisdom tooth. It started turning black. I went to the dentist and he suggested I remove it asap or else a root canal will be needed. I came back home. Googled for home remedies. Found about oil pulling. On the third day I had a surprise. My body odor was gone! I was 35 years old then and had a really bad body odour since birth. And it has not returned since that day. And the tooth, well it healed in 5 months and I never returned to the dentist :-). Now I was skeptical about these two changes until two other friends tried it. One’s root canal operation with heavily painful tooth got cancelled. His tooth is now hale and healthy. Another young girl’s bad body odour was gone for good!
@gitakb1980 Жыл бұрын
But it did not help me with bleeding gums and bad breath. After 15 years of having this issue, just one pill of homeo fixed the bleeding gums issue. And bad breath was solved recently after a tip by my yoga teacher. My yoga teacher told in a class to loosen the tongue, to not stick it to the base of roof of the mouth and to not rest it against the teeth. This she said will relax the entire body. She also said this will lead to more salivation. Now I went home and tried it. And that very day my body stress with computer work, shoulders and neck tightness was not there. I was amazed. Also I came to know something about myself. That I always since childhood kept my tongue stuck tightly to the roof of the mouth and my jaws closed and tight. Loosening the tongue loosened the jaw automatically. I started salivating a lot. And bad breath was gone. Yes it took constant reminding to loosen the tongue. It hurt the teeth and gums a lot in the sense it felt like how one feels after taking out dentures or teeth straightening screws which my mom got me done during my teenage. And that was because suddenly after 40 years of being used to be tightly shut in the mouth my gums and teeth had to sort of stand on their own. Now I also realized that all these years i was also not emotiontionally expressive at all. Either the tight mouth was the cause or the other way around. Hopefully this loose mouth will help me get rid of fear of expressing my emotions. And the bonus is my face looks better with a straight mouth as my lips no more form a frown. :-)

From my experience doing oil pulling for quite some time, there’s one caution I’ve realized. Oil pulling puts a lot of pressure (as a result of squishing oil continuously for more than ten minutes) on all teeth. If you have a cap/crown that does not have a good hold/support, it’ll come loose much sooner than you expect. Without oil pulling, it may have never experienced as much force from all angles and may have stayed put for months or years. I also do stand by all the benefits of oil pulling. The mouth feels a lot cleaner and teeth look a lot shinier after doing it.

I have started doing OP using a mixture of coconut oil and castor oil (50-50) and swishing for 3-5 minutes. Castor oil apparently expedites the process and so 2-5 minutes is enough. You can use only castor oil (no coconut oil) also. I also add a drop of clove oil to the mixture.

Dr. Upasana I'm going to try oil pulling and also found Dr. Ellie Phillips dental regime. Will get everything tomorrow and start the process. I'm a retired RN and am 71 years old. I will let you know how it works for me. I have almost all of my teeth except for wisdom teeth and had another pulled. I've gone to dentists but have never been treated for preventitive dentistry. Thank you. Catherine ❤🙏

You are so lovely. I have started oil pulling this year and I love it. Plaque buildup has lessened and my teeth feel cleaner, look better and feel stronger. I hope I never get another cavity again! 😁 I also think (but I'm not sure) that it's decreased the occurrence of my horrible migraines. Does it really draw out toxins from the whole body? I wonder.... It really is such a great thing. I only wish I had started it earlier. 💜
