On future restos you need to do The cross mesures. This body is twisted. And you have The Black car, The reference car. You are a great professional, very talent.

There’s a guy in England doing a Cosmo too.He’s got one, you’ve got three. Incredible to see such a rare car under restoration. If the other guys looks as good as yours, well I’d be surprised. Beautiful work you’re doing.

Looks awesome. I was a bit surprised when this showed up in my feed as I’m following the resto by Yorkshire Car Restoration and thought WoW they’ve jumped ahead !!! But obviously not. But shows what’s coming. Great job on the painted Cosmo

What an incredible restoration journey! 🎨🚗 Watching the Cosmo come to life with a fresh paint job is truly amazing. The transformation is so satisfying to see, and the effort put into restoring Richards L10A is impressive. 🛠 It’s always great to witness a classic car being brought back to its former glory. Can’t wait to see the finished product! 👏🌟

Cheers man, yeah I originally made the headers like 5 years ago but was unhappy with them so I got him to remake them and the rest of the exhuast, came out better than I expected.

I mean, it one thing to make a panel section that will have multiple layers of primer, paint, clear etc with sanding in between, BUT to create a full bumper from scratch to a standard that can be chrome plated…. WOW, Seriously Awesome work mate 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@notevn5 күн бұрын
Thanks mate I was very impressed myself after seeing the bumper chromed. The chromers were also very happy with it and have my number for any other bumpers that come out of the tank looking like Swiss cheese 😅

The cosmo sports looks incredible, would love to see it in person 1 day. The r33 widebody will be a treat just looking at the panels you have made. I hope you had a great festive season and look forward to seeing your work through the year.😊

It turned out really nice, keen to see it assembled further and driving. The 33Gtr will be a pretty big job it has a lot of rust to sort and pieces to make, already have the first video of it filmed, finding the time to edit and upload them is the hard part 😅

Fantastic work on your part led to a much better than factory finish! I worked for Mazda Canada in the 80’s so I have a very good understanding on this. 😮You nailed it Nathan. Just wish you were here in Canada and I would have you resurrect my ‘84 GSL-SE (had it now over 20 hrs and she needs the love) …a lot of work but a heck of a lot less than the Cosmo. 😬 Keep up the master class work and can’t wait for your next videos. All the best to you and your family and a very happy new year from Calgary, Alberta Canada
@notevn5 күн бұрын
Thanks mate, for sure it's better than factory finish, just looking at brochures and unrestored examples in meusems really shows how terrible these cars final fitup and finish was. We are looking to move overseas to escape the heat here... so who knows 😁 Happy new year to you aswell mate

The Painter/s who did the work on the car must have been very happy with the base you provided them. This is the perfect example of how to complement each other. All the hours of furstration and pain are easily forgotten when you see the the body in one even colour. Great job sir. Happy new year

We are so lucky to be able watch you work for free on KZbin! Amazing 👍🏼 QQQ what is a Better option than sand blasting a car?
@notevn5 күн бұрын
Sandblasting is fine aslong as the person doing it is gentle and knows what they are doing, most sandblast skip bins and trucks so they hit cars with fire hose pressure and ruin them I don't like acid dipping unless the entire car is being deskinned as the acid is trapped between the panels imo. If you don't trust the sandblaster. I would paint strip as many areas as possible for old thin Japanese cars and sandblast areas less prone to heat/warp damage like door jambs and openings.
