The amount of content you'll be able to make off just each step of a resto is unreal, this video for such a small insignificant panel ya never think about being a big deal is crazy... Makes me think how much a work full resto has put into it is really underappreciated... Hats off you you. Keep em coming.

Thanks mate , I think people are so used to seeing everything happen in 30 seconds like on TV, in reality there is years of work that goes unnoticed haha. Even posting on my stories you dont click that there is a whole days work in a few seconds of video.

3 minutes in I was thinking " someone get this man a tripod". Props to you though for being able, not only to record and do the work one handed, but also to do a running commentary that made sense and was easy to listen to.

I’ve been hoping to come across a build that involved extensive metal work, including creating and shaping body panels. Especially with the new and old school tools. I feel like this kind of metal work is beginning to be a lost art. It definitely is here in Hawaii where I live. I’d love to find an old master automotive metal worker/shaper who I could apprentice for, so he could pass on his knowledge. That would be so awesome. Your vids are a nice replacement for now, we just need more! Please keep it up! 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks mate, it is definitely something that isn't going to be around much longer once everything is available at the push of a button. I'd also like to find one to learn from!

Just a suggestion look out for old steel wheels and tyres to make machine bases Example the shrinker stretcher the steel wheels make it easy to weld the post too and you can fill the tyres with sand to add weight and reduce vibrations the rubber tyres add both grip and an easy way to roll the tool away from the wall if needed to work with it

Another great vid. Oit of interest, how hard was the silvia front on the stagea? You eould sell a million if you coild make a kit. Way better than r35
@notevn Жыл бұрын
Haha there is a reason why there is only one. Massive job,not a single thing bolts on, basicly have to cut the car off at the firewall and use a Silvia front clip, rails,towers,rad sup etc,custom hinges, all metal front gaurds,cut the pillars down and reshaped to suit the new bonnet height so it doesn't sit 100mm from the windscreen like the ugly 34 kits. A tonne of work.
