Yes having a hysterectomy will diff for woman who haven't had kids appose to woman who have. I understand her pain and her feelings... Im an no surgeries until my 17 year old daughter..so theis freaked me out...once over that my new quality of life baby I feel good tummy on flat due to the removal od my 3lb uterus and fibroids.. This was me. Always bleeding always cramping they tried a lot of things on me that didn't work!! I'm 44 on Friday and I'm done having kids I couldn't get pregnant anyway. So I had the hysterectomy and they found out I had adenomyosis, and fibroids they never knew about the adenomyosis I always thought it was just fibroids and it wasn't!! Adenomyosis is severe cramping and bleeding all the time I think you may have it too. I'm no doc but you sound like me. I feel so much better. You can alway adopt!!! Get rid of that

I just had my hysteroscopic myomectomy today, and I was in pain for first 3 hours after surgery. I was released an hour after, came home and took extra strength gel Advil, and a heating pad. Slept for another 2 hours but I’m good now, ate soup (first meal) only because I threw up at hospital in recovery. All I can say is to stay mentally strong and the rest will be okay.

Had mine Thursday haven’t felt anything until today sharp pain in my tummy and some minor soreness in my girl part. But the bleeding has decreased after bleeding 3 months

Hi, I’m getting my hysterectomy next week. I’m so stressed. I don’t want any other health issues down the line. Did your waist and hips get wider? I have read that this can change your shape.

Going thru this myself. 2 yrs ago I found I had fibroids and had Acessa Dec 2020. It was supposed to shrink the fibroids in a years time, but that did not happen. Mine actually grew, and about a month ago it has gotten to the point that I can't do much. I also feel depressed from it because it robs you from a lot. I've lost jobs due to missing because of the fibroid pain, can't workout any longer, and my belly has swollen/feels like constant stabbing pain. Surgery is next week, and I have prayed to God a lot that they can save my uterus/ovaries & if not at the very least the ovaries/cervix. I am 33 and ideally I also wanted to have kids, but right now the biggest is the size of a small watermelon so it is extremely painful & a lot of pressure. This is the 6th doc I have seen in 2 yrs and I am exhausted mentally, physically, financially so I am ready to hopefully get my quality of life back. TYSM for sharing your story!

Im sorry to hear about it,i hope your in good after all that surgery you had. But did any doctor advice you about healthy living,like plant base diet, no animals and oil food ,just plants,fruits cause ive search foods that help shrink fibroids and also helps fibroids getting bigger . but the thing is it makes you suffer and struggle again of heavy bleeding,cramps then its hard but hysterectomy is the solution.thats the procedure my 1st ob suggest well its hysterescopy byvthe way ,but she said since im 46 and can't bear child she told me to remove my uterus, its easy for them to say it,but for us the patient though yes i don't have any plan of having a baby cause if my age,but its hard and hurt to know an organ of your body will remove and it will never take back to your body anymore,right ? So reconsult to diff ob and she never bothered on my age she just suggest ,lets do hysteroscopy which the procedure opt to.as of now im still preparing for it bcause im still bleeding, she will inject me a medication to stop my bleeding ,and its cost much before they do the operation.is that also they did to u since u mention every other day u have bleelding ?

Im thinking in the process of hysteroscopy ddi to you ,they could also remove the fibroids , why they have not done that? Is it because of multiple fibroids? Hey I need some guidance on this.. in April 2019 I had 5 fibriods and the doctor chose to make small incisions in my stomach. The recovery took about a week or 2 for me. I still felt pain here and there but then I was OK. Then in December of 2021 I consulted with my doctor again and he informed me I have 5 more fibriods that grown back 4 outside the uterus and one that is about 4cm big on the inside. My husband and I want to conceive soon but, the doctor told me in order to do that the right way is to get a hysteroscopic myomectomy to get the one big fibriod on the inside of my uterus out. I want to know what recovery is like because my doctor is telling me I won't be able to really walk 2 or 3 days without assistance plus uterine pain but, then another video on here who is a doctor said 24 hrs but, I guess my doctor knows me best. Please if anyone has had this surgery please be real and let me know how it feels when u first wake up and First day( by the way my surgery is at 3 pm and recovery will be about an hr or so. So we won't be heading home till 6ish. Please help me understand what to expect! Thank you! 😊

There's some research that suggests that Vitamin D and EGCG inhibits the growth of fibroids. It may be useful to look into this.

Did you change your diet? After surgery its important to change your diet to balance your estrogen levels which promotes fibroids.
