I'm just now looking at your videos, I'm actually going in for surgery today 11/27/17 I'm so scared but it's something I NEED to get taken care of because I've put it off for about a year in a half but I can't handle the pain that comes with having fibroids anymore. The recovery process will be long for me because unfortunately I don't have anyone to look after me till like after 7 in the evening, that's when my boyfriend gets off... Pray for me I'm scared as hell. Excuse my language

Thank you for this Video..I have been struggling with Fibroids for 2 Years almost and plan on having surgery this Coming Spring. It's been pretty emotional overall the experience with them. I'm so ready to have them removed. I feel like my life will really change for the better. :)

Celebrating! Today marks one month after being discharged from my myomectomy.I have been home for 6 weeks and now struggling with Anemia and bathroom challenges to relieve yourself.

Hi there, thanks for the vid. very informative. I noticed you've gained weight. Could that be as a result of the op? I have fibroids. Many people say fibroids make them gain weight. My experience has been different. I have lost so much weight all over except of course around my lower abdomen that's like a pouch because of the fibroids. So can fibroids make you lose a lot of weight? Anyone who has lost a lot of weight from fibroids please respond also because the common notion is that fibroids make you gain weight

Prior to surgery I dealt with irregular periods, anemia, lack of energy, frequent urination and random pain from the fibroids that felt like I was having labor contractions as though I was about to give birth to a baby. Def not fun smh

@@lyfeunexpected yes im having the same experience with your, its just that i was confine for blood transfusion twice because of anemia , i am also now preparing for hysterescopy which my ob suggest , i have 2 fibroids but they will only remove the one thats on the lining on my uterus ,she saud the other one is located on top of my uterus which she said nothing to worry about bacause i will be on my menopause stage in 3 to 4 yrs ,im 46 byvthe way , do u think she has the right operation for me?

10 days post op open abdominal myomectomy, my pain was intense but then disappeared you are right about the set backs. I am ready to get moving and back to myself. Thank you for posting very helpful.

surgery on the 26th, and I'm mostly afraid of pain, was told that I'd be using a pain pump, what is a pain pump and how is it used?. Anyway thanks for sharing.

Honestly, my feeling when in the hospital (after surgery) was that even though I was in pain,..I still felt less pain than I had when dealing with the fibroids that they removed. I instantly felt my quality of life improve. Trust me. It will be worth it! ;)
