I believe the enneagram helps us to see our personality (persons) we are driven by our personalities, but by practicing silent prayer we can come to know our essence,which is our real Self. After practicing this I became able to rest in my essence. Free from my personality driving my bus.

Paul defined the gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 specifically but in that whole chapter. Words are God's invention, not man's.

I’m wondering and hoping if perhaps anyone that reads this has an opinion or perhaps insight on the matter. As a Christian and someone that appreciates the science aspect of life, in the way they’re amazing feats of mankind made possible by our father in heaven, while living this human experience. We’ve been able to measure and discover new things within his creations that only our God could have ever intelligently designed, down to the nuclei of atoms. What I’m wondering about is if it would be fair to say that even with the devil’s trickery all around us, that there are still simple coincidences? Like, the chances of looking at the time and seeing a certain time that someone may give meaning to isn’t exactly an unlikely chance to happen. Twice in every 24 hours, every day, there’s a good chance to see a time or perhaps it’s just the numbers that make up the time that have significance to a person in someway,. Or perhaps using the example that was talked about here, such as seeing butterflies, birds, or the myriad other things that people can give meaning to and be seen signs or messages. Can’t it just be that there’s likely chance of seeing something that happens all of the time, every day and choosing to denote a supernatural occurrence as to why it’s being seen? We’ve definitively proven the simple fact of chance and likelihood. Some of the most basic mechanisms of life. I guess what I’m asking, simply put: coincidence does exist, doesn’t it? Would it be wrong to acknowledge seeing those things and allowing them to merely be a reminder of something? Not choosing to see it as something that was consciously sent there for you, but simply acknowledging that something is there, you happen to see it, and then you reflect upon something. That’s not the same as being a pawn or fool for evil in my opinion and I think there is a distinct difference.

I go go from one church to another doing research on Churches but looking for a goid Church that can realy preach the Gospel, but i have ended being a researcher on Churches due to my experience. If they announce Revivals then it must be a real revival. They make people to come just to get disappointed. Here in Germany revivals are annonced but its just a trend and they have another trend, the praying in tungs trend where they tell every one to start praying in tungs, without the Holy Spirit. Its boring and the prayer part its the pastors who cobduct a short prayer of less than 5 minutes and thats it. They are good at preparing more than 6 pages of a summon but the service takes mostly 1hr sometimes 1hr 30 minutes but its all about telling stories and reading a Bible story. In Afro churches its all about Properity gospel and derply asking God for miracles. The world is upside down.

If you want to learn how to study the scripture so that you can scrutinize bible teaching/preaching for yourself then highly reccomend Dr. Micheal Heiser, his Naked Bible podcast (listen from the beginning though) and his courses on logos bible software as well as his website DRMSH. He is a scholar who had a heart to bring scholarly level biblical understanding to the people in the pews so that we don't just have to take the preachers word for it. The problem with western preaching is that the average person has become dependent on preachers for bublical teaching and preachers often aren't explaining how they arrive at their conclusions or applications. All preachers appeal to emotion in some way regardless of whether they are exegeting the scripture or not, when they haven't taken the time to teach people how to think and instead are just telling them what to think. This sort of preaching has been rampant in the west for decades and did not start with progressive Christianity.

Gregory Boyd's "Cross Vision" lays out his take on this in detail. I read the book after it came out because Boyd co-authored a text used in an undergrad theology class I took at Liberty. Thanks for this podcast!

Dead Sea Scrolls come from centuries after the original composition of the text that they preserve. They preserve about 25% of the Hebrew Bible and when you compare those manuscripts to the mauretic text the medieval authoritative edition of the Hebrew Bible there are differences in virtually every single verse. While the majority of those differences are spelling differences or only minor meaning differences there are still many and significant meaning differences. What they demonstrate is that the text of the Hebrew Bible was still quite fluid and was still going through change and development and we know this because when we have passages that are preserved in multiple different manuscripts in the Dead Sea Scrolls there are differences between those passages……. Dead Sea Scrolls do not demonstrate the Bible has not changed at all. It changed significantly and again the Dead Sea Scrolls frequently come from centuries after the original composition of their books. We don't know how much changed in those centuries........ this is just the assertion of Dogma as Fact. Dr Dan McClellan

This covers the reliability of Scripture as well as Christ's divinity, resurrection, and prophecies fulfilled by Jesus Christ in His first coming. (> 300) The odds of one man fulfilling even 10 of these prophecies is 10 the 40th power.

I’m a Christian but hadn’t realized that talking to the dead could be so dangerous. I don’t think I did at her grave but I did right after she died. My sister’s husband is Greek Orthodox. She’s mentioned about praying for our mom or other family members. I’ve told her that’s not necessary. She’s dead. She’s in heaven, she was a Christian. Do all Greek Orthodox practice necromancy?
