most of our lightswitches have a small and pretty basic flashlight next to them (literally mounted hanging next to or under the switch). you can always instinctually find the switch, so you can find the flashlight in the dark. The ones I have also have (pretty wimpy) glow in the dark bodies on them, so that is handy for guests in finding the lightswitch, i guess...I didnt know they glowed when I got them. Also, each hallway and 'dark space' like the basement has a nightlight with built in battery/emergency light function. on windows, shutters were a thing a long time ago that kinda went away. We installed some on our windows and they work and look great. If you want to go crazy, you can get ones that look nice when open, but are metal on the back (that would face the house when opened but the storm when shut). good stuff, your channel is criminally under-subbed to.

And I believe the same guns are great and a lot of people are hard core for just guns but like you said that’s not the only thing you need to survive

My wife wears her plate carrier to the gym and hammers down. It's concealable so she doesn't look like a crazy person lol! Me on the other hand, I'll strap on my 18 lb plate carrier, throw my 38 lb go bag, strap on the dog's tactical harnesses with loaded 30 round mags and water bottles and go for a mile long walk through my neighborhood. Some people look at me like I'm nuts, some won't even make eye contact and some are curious. Every now and then I meet someone who knows exactly what I'm doing. I end up befriending those folks as they live very close to me. Just by doing this I have formed a network of like minded neighbors within a mile of me. Some of us have even gathered for bbq's and should the shtf, we'll team up together. In a shtf scenario strength in numbers is real shid!

I just saw your video and i just did a video on 4Patriots 72 hour kit and we basically came up with the same results with the exception of 4 patriots creamy rice as i thought it was a good tasting product. However i dont believe its a 72 hour (3 day) survival kit. Many of these so called survival food comoanies are misleading the consumer. I believe what you did in the review as well as i i did is helpful for others so they dont make a mistake and buy this junk. Great video.

I literally just got done watching the daily brief. Stomp Bag 1.0 is behind me, ARK on my gun belt behind me and my Bearfak 3.0 is in the pickup. First off, good review 👍. I've heard others break down costs and try to give refuge a hard time, not saying you did you were just showing the example of benefit. I get your concerns about what you'd like in the bucket or as mentioned the add ons (I don't think a TQ is an add on, you have to go to the section and add it). I think it depends on the approach to the bucket. I approach this as supplemental to my kits I have so being more gauze heavy coincides with that, again I have an $1100 STOMP Bag with the other things in it. I didn't question the cost of my materials, well my wallet did as it had a couple butterflies, but I was buying the refuge team as much as the product. Also, I likely wouldn't have known what to source without just copying someone anyway. Things I know: 3) They only operate on a 5% margin, 2) it's quality gear and as much USA product as they can source at the time while trying to simultaneously build domestically behind the scenes, and 1) They do it for the right reasons ie. their company slogan and how so many of them are also involved with Grindstone Ministries and Kaleb House

They had one for my Taurus G2C. I don’t take my gun off my belt when I use the bathroom. I’m not sure why anyone would. Anyhow, I never had an issue with the loops, on that issue. I got those metal belt clips used on some knife sheaths and wear the holster on the inside of my belt, but on the outside of my pants. I find it works best that way.

It does not remove toxins from the water. The main ingredient is calcium hypochlorite (bleach) which kills off all pathogenic microbes. 🤷‍♂️ So this stuff is useless against radioactive water ☢️

When making evac plans, have different plans for different types of emergencies. I am within a nuclear power plant evac radius, so I have to know what to do & where to go. I even have potassium iodide pills in my medicine box. Great info tho
