My least favorite Metallica album now. Filled with fatal flaws that add up to a boring and tedious experience. This is what Metallic sounds like when they aren’t being challenged by themselves for a real producer.

I still like it, keep putting it on but it also made me like the past two albums more after getting into this one.

I think songs without such high notes would be better for Brian now. Thunderstruck and hells bells he's struggling but whole lot of Rosie and riff raff are more level in vocal range. Maybe I'm talking bollocks but it's just a thought

David Coverdale of Whitesnake is worse sadly & he had a wonderful voice, now completely shot. I grew up as a teenager in the late 70s & early 80s, now aged 60 but still a fan of those bands I grew up listening to & then going to watch live. I was a massive fan of AC/DC, I grew up with the Bon Scott era, which is still my favourite period, I didn't get the chance to see them live back then but I have seen them several times over the years since, the 1st time was in 1981 age 18 when they headlined the monsters of rock festival, now Download, I was also able to take one of my sons nearly 30 years later to see them headline again at Donnington in 2012. I would rather remember those bands as they were rather than as they are now!
@metalandrockzone16 сағат бұрын
Yes but what David Coverdale has done has worked out in the way that he has these 2 keyboard players who are amazing singers, specially one of the Dino Jelusick and they pick up what he has no chance of doing. So the show doesn't suffer. Saw Whitesnake 2 times in recent years with this setup and it was great.
