Tbh a 10-20 round mag would actually look better. Never liked long mags on traditional stock shapes. But a 10-20 rnd detachable box mag lever gun? Based. Damn it. Now I want it 😂

Gimmickee add on to a firearm that already needs 20 upgrades to start .it's 9mm blowback not 308. If you can't handle the recoil buy a pellet gun

Warning: the early Henry 9mm carbines were absolute unreliable garbage. I don't know if they did a recall and/or fixed future models. But make certain you research hard before getting the 9mm carbine. See Honest Outlaw's review for failure proofs.

I don't hate lever actions, they are not my cup of tea. But I hate seeing tacticool lever actions. Lever actions have become the Honda Civic of the gun world. Tactical rails = 4ft NOS sticker on the back window. Shell carrier = Hoonigan windshield banner. RDS = trunk mounted giant wing. Cerakoted = every stick on / glue on part from AutoZone. Suppressor mounts and cans = ricer fart exhaust. Just make it go away. 😖

Great video Micah. I just bought an M&P Compact optics ready model a week ago and I could not be happier with my choice. This just affirms it even more.

If you buy an M&P Shield Plus it doesn't work out if the box. It can't operate with the 13rd mag full, it binds up the action. S&W's customer service told me to run 10rds instead. I told him it's supposed to be a 13rd gun and his reply was, "look...I don't know where you're hanging out, but if you're constantly needing more than 10 rounds you should consider a lifestyle change". They finally agreed to let me send it in. They sent is back with new sights (??) and kept the nice Boyd's case I mailed it in and returned it in a standard cardboard box. It still wouldn't run with a full mag, obviously. Finally, they admitted that it wouldn't run and the Magguts version of mag spring was the only thing that worked. They sent me a $50 gift card to buy Magguts springs and it works fine now. S&W seems to get a lot of love, but the one M&P product I from them was unusable out of the box and not only were they unable to fix it, they gave me the run around for several weeks and I still had to use the aftermarket to fix the firearm.

Finally a hammerless lever action with detachable magazine. It would be great if a keltec su16 type underfolder stock can be developed for it. The barrel neeeds to be free floated and good old ar15 forend to mount accessories and hold on to it without saying hot...hot...hot... when firing too much or while being in the desert. Give it a funnel magwell with a decent size mag release. It should hold back the bolt on last round bolt hold open. Bigger lever holes for use with gloves and space for brading cloth and rubber cables to prevent my knuckles and fingers getting bruised.

Maybe it’s better to just roll with 20rnd mags with it, so the lever isn’t so stiff at the start

I ran an LMT 11.5 for years and bought a specwar because it had mid length gas. I liked the upper so much after a month, I bought a factory SBR. It is so hard choose to shoot something else.

I think the Long Ranger comes in 556 and 308, but it had a small box magazine. I'm glad this runs better than the homesteader.

I have heard mixed reviews on the century arms AKs but ive got a c39v2 in a pistol configuration with a 10.6 inch barrel a brace and a spitfire 3x prism red dot. Gun has 1000 rounds through it does great its never failed me personally

too bad you cant buy one. I've been trying to get one since they announced. Even contacted Herny twice. No dice. Gave up and bought a CVA Scout in 300 B.O. Maybe if they quit making them out of unobtanium, I'll get one.
