Even slow pace and fast pace they can rely on and stable control much better than Adidas Pro 4. Adidas Pro4 may more suitable for marathon, but I got many feedback people who use this for marathon, it make foot heart since 30km onward, may be because its foam too soft and force return from Energy Rod is accumulate heart to foot.

@run-are i have used size 8.5 US with Adidas for long as I can remember. But since the launch of the Ultraboost Light in 2023 , all of their newer shoes started to become super small for me. Now I use size 9.5 with Adidas. For the other brands is still 8.5US like for New Balance, Puma , Mizuno , ON and Nike. But for Asics I feel better with the size 9 The 9.5 is way too large for me , would have to use TWO WINTER socks for the shoes to fit. But not with Adidas, lol .

I disagree, 8.5 US in AP4 is perfect for me just like every other shoe I own. A whole size up would be ridiculous, but my big toe isn’t relatively very long. So many of us have different shaped feet, but some people seem so sure it’s only the shoe.

Ottima recensione. They feel pretty similar to me at pace. The 4 definitely softer in the heel but with my typical mid-forefoot strike feels very similar at pace. We running easier than MP, the 4 does feel a bit mushy and slightly less stable. Even at pace I'd say the 3 feels faster, though I don't think it actually is, it's just more responsive. The upper is amazing on the 4, but you really have to crank it down to get a good lockdown and avoid toes jamming in the point toe box.

Well done on yet another top quality running shoe comparison. I really appreciate your video format and the way you detail your experience with all the shoes you try/test. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into producing your amazing running shoe content. I am fortunate enough to own both the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 3 and Pro 4 and completely agree with your assessment regarding the foam compression differences. I am 6ft, ~82kg (so not the lightest runner but also not the heaviest) and I tend to land mid-to-forefoot and find that my particular running form gets along much better with the Pro 3 than the Pro 4. Whilst the early stage rocker in the Pro 4 does help a little to get me up on my toes quicker, it also means I have slightly less foam in the forefoot. That coupled with the ultra-squashy foam, I can easily feel the ENERGYRODS as I toe-off which is quite uncomfortable and irritates my neuroma. I also find the foam in the Pro 4's to require a higher cadence to mitigate some energy return loss from the compression. That could just be my perception but my legs feel like they don't have to work as hard in the Pro 3's. I also feel much more protected in the Pro 3's and my running form feels more natural. I find myself adjusting my running form in the Pro 4 to land more mid-to-heel in order to get a little more protection and use less energy from my stride. Looking forward to your next review.

It's amazing how different a person can feel in the same shoe. The pro 3 are as fast as anything out there for me. I even do my track sessions in them and I actually think the faster you run the better it is. I prefer the saucony pro 4 for marathon even though that shoe can be fast if you want it to. Just walking in the pro 3 you can feel the bounce. The pro 4 sounds like it's more a step towards the alphafly 3 and meataspeed sky paris.

The pro 3 was a banger! Unfortunately for me, the Pro 4 is a slight backwards step. If Adidas had made the heel area of the pro 4 the same as the pro 3, then it would be a real winner, but that softer foam wrecks my achilles.
