I'm a HUGE Tempo Next% fan (3 pairs 1200km, 800km and 250km, which are all still actively in use). And I have been waiting for a Tempo Next% V2, since the air pods are such an amazing feature. But it seems like Nike have no desire to go this route again. So I've been struggling to find a true training partner replacement for my beloved AF V1/2/3. I see the ZF V6 as a VaporFly trainer, and I'm very encouraged that they made the plate flexible enough (similar to the Tempo Next%). I have never worn a VF, but as my marathon times have improved over the years, perhaps I will take the plunge. I would consider trying a pair of ZF V6, but not at retail price $225 CAD (I think the price is fair). I have other shoes I need to replace before that! LOL

I bought one as a trainer for my vf3 and af3, it feels more like the AF3 but it's taller, I haven't run on it yet because I'm still injured but yeah.

I am a massive Tempo fan - like massive as in I buy tons of them “gently used” on eBay. I have been waiting and waiting for anything even remotely close. I will say that this is the closest I’ve come to it. As you noted, the absence of the AirPods from these does change them a bit. They have the snap and really “sing” at those tempo/fartlek paces, but they are not the totally same feel as Tempos. If, as someone noted, they were going to come out with a Tempo 2 soon, I would lose my mind. In the meantime, this is about as close as you can get.

Picked up a pair in the ek colourway, after a few runs I’m liking it. A real work horse.

Just got mine the other day but can't run on it yet due to injury, the height need some getting used to, I agree the carrier foam is soft, this will be a great substitute shoes for my deviate nitro 2s, will probably get a 3rd pair before they run out, then another of this if I like it when I do my runs.

How does the Zoomfly 6 compare to the Superblast 2 in terms of midsole responsiveness and softness? Is the ZF6 softer or firmer than the Superblast 2?

The Zoomfly is WAY softer than the SB. Lots more bounce and squish. The SB's foam feels more responsive but I think that the Zoomfly feels much better to run fast in.

I don’t get the zoom fly 5 hate I put over 300 miles on my pair and it was an amazing shoe all the way

While it is good, how do they compare to the Speed 4 or Boston 12? Which one will you recommend if I can only take one?

How is the lateral stability or do you have to be careful not rolling your ankle while making sharp turns? From the looks of the rear end midsole design and softness, it looks a bit unstable.

@@Decisions4u it's not unstable for me but if you are prone to rolling your ankle on sharp turns it could be an issue.

How’s the fit compared with Pegasus? I size up with Pegasus because of the narrow forefoot.

This is narrow for my normal size, but I think the upper will have some sort of break in period, for reference I have the vf3 and af3 but those are roomier.

Curious how this shoe compares to the NB/SC trainer or the Brooks Hyperion Max?

@@SteveBarck fits somewhere in between. Not as soft as the SC Trainer and not as responsive as the Hyperion Max. It's better than both IMO.

I know I am not the original poster, but I bought both shoes recently. To me, ZF6 are a faster shoe - snappier but less cushy. The NV are much cushier, but I also think that NV is a little more unstable because of the rocker. I prefer the ZF6. I had hoped that NV would be like a do it all shoe, but I see it more as a recovery/easy shoe that I can pick up for some strides in.
