Couple of hints on things you have passed up. Where the wyvern breathes fire in High Wall of Lothric, there is an item you will really enjoy. You should also explore the tower with the wolf in it and the bridge with the demon. The demon has a very helpful drop, and there are two secrets, one on the tower itself and one on the bridge above it.

The asylum demon up there did a lovely little thing where it threw me to the raised area of the bridge (the gate filled with rubble) you're not supposed to get on then killed me up there. Meaning my souls were trapped up there cuz it was global ground for some reason. (I learned soul duping to get it back outta pettiness lol)

6:43 At the beginning of the Abyss Watchers fight if you walk up towards the door but don't aggro the dark knights or poison guys. You can see the knights absolutely kick the shit out of those poison guys, i recommend respawning at the bonfire behind you just to see it. It's really cool.

DS3 combat is so smooth, that you can forget to switch your starting weapon until the end (it was battle axe for me too)... I wanted to go for Str + Faith build, but kinda forgot to explore other weapons and it worked :D (switched very late).

As I'm looking at the coomments, we did it guys ! We established the Loon! But for real though already my favorite DS3 playtrough and as someone that has like 35 playtroughs and usually a hard time watching DS3 bc I know too much about this , this is really outstanding ! And side note : There is a lot to miss in the whole cathedral area in and outside you should maybe do a bit more exploring , its worth tho! You can get siggys armor from patches so dont kill him bc you need to give it back to him to complete his quest, he got trapped in the well in front of the cathedral and we can't let onion bro down man !

One item that most people neglect to use in this are colored bug pellets. You find blue ones right before the crystal sage, which greatly increase your magic resistance for 90 seconds. If you are facing a particular element and you have the pellets ( such as red for fire ) give em a try if you want.

Remember, the plunge attack is the most reliable move in the game

Man please get a better weapon I can't bear seeing u go to difficult places with the starting weapon man. Anyways now you should go fight the abyss watchers in farron keep from there you will enter the catacomb in there navigate urself to the boss who I won't spoil. The black knight can be cheesed with a shield and weapon just hold block or dodge to get behind him and get back stabs.
