I was 4... I know I'm late to this vid but yeah, my 12 year old uncle tried to groom me until he asked me to come to the bathroom with him and tried to prompt me into giving oral. Thankfully, and sadly, Ma had given me the talk very young because of her SA around the same age and I knew I had to run and tell. They got me looked at and everything and they kept us separated until after I started transitioning. He learned his lesson and I've healed from it and we talk every once in a while. I was only so lucky because of Ma and because he was so young that he grew up and learned to be better. He's never hurt anyone since and is the most respectful man out there now.

Great discussion, as many of us become older the superficiality of the gay world/image becomes a real problem. We have very real issues with a way smaller supporting resources in the gay community than in the straight world. We have gay racism, discrimination, poverty, unbiased health care, homelessness and finding a supportive church family or gay community services .
