Thanks for the video! I'm trying to figure out if you need to purchase the mobile app in order for it to work on a tablet?

Despite being an avid FL user I still love watching your videos. Sometimes its good to refresh your mind as there is alot to take in with the program when you learn more some things tend to slip from your mind as you learn new tricks. Love your videos man, they are easy to follow. I have been watching it as if i was a beginner and love it! Keep up the great work.

I'm not sure what the specific niche use case of this method is, but personally, I prefer linking the mix knob to a Fruity Peak Controller on the same track. An advantage of my method is, it is highly customisable, dynamic (compared to this method which requires an unnecessary step each time you change the sample) and is surprisingly easy to set up. Or you know, use Shaperbox and turn up the envelope in the Reverb module, but I recommend only considering that if you have money to burn, or if you're using a different DAW, but I suggest exploring the built-in options first.

Will this work for audio clips too? I have projects with a lot of little audio clips that I was thinking would be great to do just this! Thanks!

I believe u can't merge different parameters automation...like merge panning & volume into the same automation or any 2 or more than 2 knobs for that matter. My guess is probably not cuz it would be weird... If it works then idk if its good or not😅
@WubvubstepКүн бұрын
Not sure I get what your saying, surely you could just link them to the same automation clip by right clicking and selecting link to controller, then choosing the automation clip you want as the control automation for both parameters

great tip, another way of doing this is simply sidechaining the vocals to the reverb on a separate mixer channel!

Great video! Just a quick question, when you double click on a pattern, it selects an instrument from the pattern, but would it be possible to also select its track in the mixer (that would be a huge time saver, because you have to go find the instrument in the channel rack and click on it)?
