Awesome video! I'm struggling to adjust my steadycam vest with 2 spring arms. I adapted it on my Crane 3S (extended) cuz I put the Ursa Mini Pro in it. I don't know why but the arm does not absorb movement at all, just can't figure it out.

Hi, first of all, great videos! Do you have one about the mod you made to the Tilta Float Arm to support 15kg? Did it work well?

After watching this hands-on review, anyone who doesn't subscribe wasn't looking for an honest review or solution. LOL. And hit that notification bell. This is one of the most empowering reviews on the internet. Thank you very much :-)

Good stuff. I see you have built your own and also have used the tilta float. Knowing what you know. Would you build your own or buy the Tilta Float. I will be maxing out my rs4 pro, weight wise. Im undecided. Thanx in advance.

Warning, Not all 3D printers are good for this job. They are not precise and the prints are rough and will snap in like they do in Thorsten’s video. Find a high end 3 printer and professional to make this for you, or you will waste time and money. Bad prints can lead to catastrophic problems with this model. Do not press down on LCD if it cannot fit in its slot or you will break it. And will have to order a replacement from PortKeys. How do I know? I did that. And I have 4 different prints by two different 3D printers and the parts were not precise or rendered clean and smooth. Thorsten is not offering printing anymore. I got his last set. Due to a postal strike I am having a pro 3D printing company do them for me. I would only recommend this mod on the LEYE 2 and 3 versions, as they come with a LP6 battery slot on the back. You should wear proper gloves to handle electronics do this mod to avoid static or finger oils damage to the LEYE components.

Thank you Adam for your fantastic video! I tested the SDR wirh my Ronin RS3pro, the latest Ronin app and my B-Camera, a Panasonic Lumix S5 (not mark II). Everything works fine (like with my raveneye) and much more stable. BUT: i can't control my focus motor and a good documentation does not exist. So it's just another piece of equipment, that makes no sense für me.

If you strip down ronin 4d to bare minimum weight are you able to use on rs4pro for the track function for waypoints on the ronin app? If not why doesn’t ronin 4d have this function and rs4pro does and is there anyway to track for repeatable shots?
@Filmgoblin
@Filmgoblin Ай бұрын
I’m curious if you know of anyway to automate camera movements on ronin 4d? For example I want to repeat a shot with the same movement pan camera for 5 seconds at 5 out of 100 speed and then tilt for 5 seconds at 10 out of 100 speed. Does that make sense?

Did you use SDR to trigger ActiveTrack like the Raveneye transmitter does? If not, do you know if it can trigger ActiveTrack? If not, do you know why it doesn't trigger ActiveTrack? Thanks!
@myerssamuel1057
@myerssamuel1057 2 ай бұрын
You're one of the few to show how tracking still tracks a subject with competing objects or when the subject is obscured or disappears temporarily. Question: how good is LiDAR-enabled ActiveTrack Pro in low light? If ActiveTrack is using LiDAR to find and track a subject, in theory it could still lock onto and track a subject even in the dark. Have you have tested low light or difficult light conditions? Thanks!

I got both cameras, and I gotta let you know DJI has no way to beat Komodo in terms of image quality. Don't fool people around. Ronin 4D is good just because it combines everything all together in 1 piece with a single battery when in usage, also at a low price (that's all Chinese camera brands are doing right now). It is very convenient on set, but it is a completely different level in terms of image quality.

Really nice and honest review. I really like the cooperation between you and your wife on those shots as I have an idea to bring my middle kid into the drone business at some point :) I currently have the m3pro and have thought about expanding into the I3 as the next step up in production value, mainly to be able to handle better assignments like you also mention in this video. With a plan to also add the Ronin 4d to the "arsenal" as well, these two platforms should be able to deliver a very cohesive result from both ground and air :)
