So as you know I’m running two separate AC500 systems (12kw=3 B300s + 1 B300 / 9kw=3 B300) I love bluetti however I’m not going to expand further due to their competition offering similar capacity and capabilities but at a lessor cost. WDYT?

Just dealt with the first long(ish) power outage (about 16 hours) since I purchased my AC200Max and B230. I can't thank you enough for the easy-to-miss point about switching from "Other" to "PV" for DC Input Source. (How is that not in the manual?) After running our refrigerator and some smaller things all night, I had a couple-hour window of sunlight in the morning, and remembered this and it drastically increased my charging. All in all, my AC200Max and B230 performed excellently, which was a welcome confirmation of the soundness of the investment....

10:00 When the B300K is fully deployed and you leave it that way for a longer period of 2 weeks because you are off grid a long time, the level becomes to low for recognised by the AC200Max. So it won't charge by the AC adapter when you on grid again. In that state, is it possible to charge it through the DC input of the AC200Max so it becomes alive again? Other video with a AC300 state's that you need a B300 connected also to charge it through it's DC input and leveling the battery voltage to get it live again. It would be great if you want to test it on the AC200Max only.
@OffGridSolarSmartHouse
@OffGridSolarSmartHouse 9 күн бұрын
The b300k will charge from the ac200max by either AC or DC input unless the B300k is turned off. If it's on it will work fine. The Max cannot wake it up. I hope this helps
@JdZ-2023
@JdZ-2023 9 күн бұрын
@OffGridSolarSmartHouse Thank you for your quick response. When the battery is deployed and kept that way for a longer time after auto shut off at empty for saving the battery, the B300 or the B300K battery voltage degrees to low so the extension won't be recognised anymore! The risk of having a dead B300K is there and can be mitigated if you have a B300 and use that DC input for charging it and levelling its battery state with the B300K so that one becomes live again also. If you don't have a B300 and only a B300K, can the AC200Max be used to charge the B300K by its DC/ Solar DC input if it is not recognised due to a to low battery state of the B300K.

I have the bluetti AC 200 Max with two b 230 batteries for a couple of years now. Works pretty well with a couple of problems. Problem number one the Bluetooth only works part of the time. I have to reboot the entire system to get it to work again and then it fails after a few hours. Second problem is that I can no longer turn on AC output through the touch screen. Clicking AC on does nothing on the touch screen. I can only turn it on through Bluetooth which comes and goes like I said, only works part of the time. If Bluetooth fails the system will be dead in the water. I contacted customer service and their recommendation was to ship it back to them and they would " take a look ". As long ago disposed of my boxes and have no packaging in which to ship the unit back so I'm living with The issues for now.

Awesome idea. I made a 5kWh battery system to go into my Bluetti. Its a 36v nominal system. But i have a 36v to 140v step up converter. At 36v it charges at about 540W and with the converter it charges at about the units max, which is 1,200W. You should've gotten a 12 to 36v step up converter though, because most units actually limit your amperage input at any voltage below 32.

@markkanterman7302 the ac200p is good for emergency power but not to power your house and lowering your bill. This is because it's not truly expandable with b230/b300 batteries. With that said, you want maybe 4 solar panels in series depending on the voc of the panels.
