I do like this model a lot haven't picked one up yet. As far as the holster goes I've been bugging Fenix for 10 years about getting new holsters but I don't think they plan on it. Thanks Mr B ❤️❤️🙏🙏

Yup it's a decent enough model, beam is useful range too, the holster thing just lets the show down a bit in my view. I had this feeling about holsters for quite some time with Fenix, perhaps they will take note eventually and improve them. Might not bother some, but I'd like to see them do something here!

Nice beam, not sure of the spacing. Could have had a 700 lumen high mode, then had 1400 for turbo. All very sustainable for the 18650 battery. Great quality lights from Fenix, their holsters have always been crap. Wuben, Nitecore and Olight seem to have the best holster quality. Great review and night shots Mr B 👍

It's good aside from the high mode which isn't high enough IMO. I agree the holsters are poor and let the show down (maybe they'll improve them over time, but felt this way for years now, so perhaps they won't!) I've not looked at Olight for a long time, the custom battery became an obsession for the company and thanks but no thanks! Nitecore are pretty consistent and seem to be pushing newer LEDs too, a bit more interesting then some brands.

Hello my friend. My opinion about PD32R, the design includes knurling on the body, I like it.And it uses a double spring in the driver and tail cap.It's good that this lamp spring is added with a dual spring.What I am not satisfied with this PD32R is the light output. This lamp should have a turbo output of at least 2000 lumens.Meanwhile, I like if this PD32R has a 0.5 lumen or 1 lumen firefly mode.At the same time, I prefer if this lamp has 5 steps of light output.Examples are firefly 1 lumen-low 100 lumen-medium 350 lumen-High 800 lumen and Turbo 2000 lumen or at least turbo output 1800 lumen.In my opinion, if the stamping of light output production that I explained earlier, the possibility of stamping from low output to turbo output can be said to be almost balanced.It's good that this lamp is also added with 2 more special moods besides strobe, which are beacon and sos mode.Another comment I have about this PD32R is, I would love and be happy if this flashlight has 2 switches like other models. Tactical switch and side switch.One of the things I like about this lamp is, it uses Lumminus SFT-40 aimed at throwing light further.To be honest, I really like the design and the charger cover.The design, if I look at the whole, can be said to be perfect and cohesive.I am writing this comment to express my views on the PD32R.However, I thank you and I really appreciate you for making a review about this PD32R flashlight.

For carry on luggage yes, you can check with the airline rules but usually fine.
