i built my pizza restaurant almost all by myself, had to have help with the heavy roof that was it. everyday 9 hours or more for three months and i got it, including the cement floors and all the gravel all of it. have pictures and videos also to always remind me of the hours and pain I spent. then after that, I built my daughter a playground. its what men do. and we dont complain.

Any worry of that little wall twisting the joists? Maybe I'm overly cautious but I think a diagonal brace back up to the subfloor would triangulate it nicely and not be very much work.

I frame garages by myself, if you’re talking about setting actual individual rafters, I set the ridge on props and then nail the rafters to it, then nail them to the wall...it’s a lot of up and down the ladders.

Go to a job with your boots hard hat and bags ask if they need any labors or whatever experience you have… I started as a labor and started learning buying tools and gaining experience and now I’m a decent carpenter… skys the limit you can learn as much and earn as much as you work for… it’s a beautiful job I love being a carpenter/framer
