I went from bfgoodrich ko2 to the rt’s. Love them so far. Smooth, soft ride, only thing that the rt’s are noticeably noisy vs the ko2,s. They feel heavier, vs ko2’s will see how they do off road.

Yes. I switched to a flo torque IV hub kit which is supposed to reduce prop chatter and it did. Oddly, at my last service, the mechanic swapped the kit out back to a flo torque 2 (the hub kit that was installed during this video) and the chatter did not return.

I am planning to mount this motor on my outrage 22. How low did you set the motor? What mounting hole was used on the motor? Thank You

I had it mounted one hole below the tallest option. No issues at all with either Reliance or Enertia props. Friend has his mounted all the way up and reports no issues either. Both boats used in ocean conditions.

@@jkwan81 @jkwan81 Thank you this is really helpul. I'm moving the motor from my previous outrage 18 to the new to me outrage 22. The F200 has been awesome so far! I have a reliance 18 pitch prop on it with the 18 but will probably prop down to what you have.

I have the same motor on my 21 outrage. When I cold start it, I have no clue what I am doing when starting. I somehow always manage to flood the carbs. I push the center in, put it in mid throttle, choke and go and it floods.

There are no carbs on this motor. Hence the “EFI” (electronic fuel injection).

@@timothyluke3709 There were four legs for support, two of the legs were in the spalsh well and two were in front of the splash well. I secured it using marine turnbuckles. Worked great.

Hey great video just wondering have you seen a difference in wave height at slack tide at full tide or low tide, would you recommend a certain time to cross the bar? Going south

Yes! Tidal flow is the main variable (wind is another). Look at the current, generally the less flow the better. A few hrs and its a totally different place. Going S. can be dangerous, there is no channel on the S. side. Go out the main channel and stay in deep water.

Was this Saturday 9/18? I was out there too. Headed in from Dux with 0 salmon at 11am when wind started picking up. First and last time I go out the gate with a south wind forecast.

@@jkwan81 We passed pt bonita at about 12:10 and went to the shipping channel and turned east with the current. We were taking large splashes to the windshield about every 5 minutes for a while. Luckily never took one over the bow. Not fun!

This bike bucks the back wheel looks like it’s trying to huck you over the front bars. Mine does that too. I have to lower the seat all the way down. I even cut a couple inches off the seat post

I got a same motor as this one 1997 200hp offshore. If you don't mind telling me what is your top speed on motor and what size is your Boston? Mine is 220ccf wellcraft and my top speed 2 person about 40 to 4mph 4 blade prop.

22’ Outrage. Best I ever saw was 46mph. Average top speed closer to 43-44mph. Running an 18” Enertia.
