Me thinking: why I'm so drive in with this opening? Oh right, Tool - H. (1:10).

The commenter below me mentions the difficulty Rick Moranis may or may not have encountered in memorizing these lines. 4 things: 1. I've tried and failed many times. 2. My buddy Matt from college had it nailed at one point. 3. I've heard that John Candy was the original choice for this role. Would the lines have been written the same for him? I dunno. I'm still inclined to think he'd have pulled off his usual comedic flourish no matter the demands of the script, nor the intended essence of the character. That said... 4. Moranis's sparkling performance brought Vinz to life well-beyond what Aykroyd and Ramis could have ever imagined. Bonus: Annie Potts...while less consequential to the plot and without as much showcasing from scene to scene - brilliantly quirky in her own right as Janine. They might have gone to the well one too many times with the Louis-Janine pairing in GB2 but it probably seemed like the obvious move, so it's plenty forgivable.

Y'know, dispite being different from The Real Ghostbusters? I also always thought this Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon was pretty cool too imo. What I also like about this show is that besides Jason Mardsen,Tara Strong,Maurice LaMarche, and Billy West is that they got Alfonso Ribeiro and Rino Romano to voice Roland and Eduardo in this since I usually known them as Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Batman/Bruce Wayne from The Batman (2004) which is also cool imo :)

You have to see the whole movie to totally get how funny this is, cuz he was such a mild-mannered tax accountant nerd before he got possessed. Once you've seen _that,_ you feel just how out-of-character this rant is, about Zuuls(!) and Torgs(!) and Slors(!) There's _no doubt_ he's possessed! 😂

I know this is just a gag, but honestly I stand by that a Titanic ghost movie would be great. And I don't mean something like Titanic 666, the concept of the victims roaming around, all that is so haunting and sad. So I do wish we'd get a good film with that premise some day

Egon is the smart guy. Ultra-conservative and thinking type. If people were actually like him, I think a lot of people would be in better shape financially. But then, our lives would be very boring with very little risks and adventures.
