The 1986 LAPD Caprice is not Original LAPD or is it? LAPD had no Pushbars and no Spotlights in this time.

No one mentions left turn signal. Did the mechanic passenger see Turnupseed's blinker on? If Turnupseed did not turn on his blinker he caused the accident.

I love the Highway Patrol series. Mostly because of the vintage American cars I watch the show in spite of Dan Mathews. He could make coffee nervous I grew up in Northridge and Chatsworth just south of Devonshire between Tampa Ave. And Topanga Canyon Blvd. I was looking at the Chatsworth filming locations and found places that are part of my past. Morigi's Pizza at Devonshire and Owen mouth was owned by my Godfather, Dominic Morigi. It's now the Cowboy Palace and has been after he moved the Pizza restaurant to Reseda Blvd, between Nordoff and Roscoe. In the 90s, my friends and I would meet at the Town and Country Restaurant at Devonshire and Lassen. We used to fish at the U Catch Um pond on Roy Rodgers Ranch at the end of Lassen. I remember driving down Devonshire where all the olive, orange and walnut groves grew along Devonshire. My Grandfather and his son planted all the pine trees that now grow beautifully along Devonshire. Lucy and Desi's ranch was just south of Devonshire and west of Corbin. What a great place to grow up. In the late 50s until today, Northridge and Chatsworth have become one of the most affluent areas of the north San Fernando Valley. My parents last home was on Vintage just west of Tampa my Godfather built and lived on Vanalden, just 3 houses north of Nordoff. Every New Years Eve my Godfather Uncle Dominic and Aunt Mable Morigi would throw a New Years Eve party that became legendary for years until their passing in the 80s and 90s respectively. I knew then I was a very lucky guy, and still am.

Highway Patrol is still my favorite '50s show (I first started watching it at age 6 in 1960) I invested in the DVD set some years back and still watch them all the time. The Buick Century weighs 4000 pounds so it needed a powerful engine to pull it.
