I’m crocheting a baby blanket using this stitch. I’d like to add a border. Can you recommend a border? 💛

Can I clarify, are the dc2tog on top of each other each time? And is that the same with the 2dc? Or are they all slightly off side each time.

I like the texture and look of this blanket. I was wonderung, if a blanket calls for bulky uarn, and I decide to use a worsted, do they still.come out looking about the same? I havent tried this yet. Just curious. Also, I just discovered your blog and patterns, and I love how you make such nice things that are not difficult. I just dont have the time, I wish I had, to crochet. What is a standing crochet at the end of a row

Kind of a weird question. Going to make this for my grandbaby. Are the stitches "holey"? Worry about little toes. Also holey crochet blanket drive my adult daughters crazy lol.

Hi Lauren. Thanks for this video. However, I noticed you do not turn your square after each round. I've heard that you should do this in order to keep their blanket from losing shape or going wonky. Can you tell us why you do not flip your square after each row?

Why 7.5" for newborn? It says in your char5 13.5". So, your verbal and pattern directions are contradictory... It should state to take the hat width and chain until you reach half that measurement?

I have pulled 8 rows a king size blanket because I didn’t like the look of the blanket. I am testing colors and stitches.

Hi Lauren, Although you have color stripes in yours, I’ve been wanting a pattern to do in a solid color to show off the stitch. I just received my order of the new Caron Simply Me yarn. It’s a light #5. It has a pretty sheen and soft on the hands but still has body. It looks beautiful in this stitch! I ordered it specifically. I’m so glad I did! 😊Thank you!🐝
