i followed the video on row 3 for the single crochets, but am coming up with only 40 stitches. I noticed it because row 4 was not lining up like yours. Row 2 was just fine!

Has anyone made this using Striped yarn? I just purchased 4 skeins of The Pioneer Woman Teal Stripes yarn. I think this pattern is absolutely beautiful and would be so pretty in that yarn. But not sure where the stripes would change colors.
@jenniferjohnson72799 ай бұрын
I have seen that yarn at local walmarts store in the sewing section,its very pretty. the way the stripes would flow, seems tb more of ombre effect. the yarn seemed very very nice.good luck making your project.

Lauren I would like the row 4also Thank you for all the Lives you help by these vintage videos I can remember my Grandma andMom and Dad all crocheted My Dad was Australian and couldn't speak a word of English when he married my Mom right ▶️ after Pearl harbor.. When he passed how about he had just earned a 💜 a American Visa a High School Diploma and Went from a toolmaker to a Supervisor Toolmaker for one of the Big three in Connecticut Electric 🚢 and he created patterns for Fishermen's Jackets which were very well constructed and He could crochet better than both of us... just thought I'd share my to creative family also my Grandmother She was a seamstress/Hat maker Amazing designer also.Mother also could crochet but like me book sense ...Ha ha.. Thank you for letting me share with you..

My question is when you insert in each of the top stitches are you going into the whole v or just that front single yarn piece?

I'm not the most advanced when it come to crochet but I usually do okay. However, I can't seem to get my first "peak" to line up on row 3. Any idea where to look first to figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Same thing happened to me. Was making one for the harvest. Now I need to take it all apart and start again. U did a beautiful well explained tutorial. But u only did two rows of work. The first row wasn’t even explained as single crochet. Would it be much to ask to redo ur tutorial and get us up to row 4 🥹

@@DaisyCottageDesigns ❤❤❤❤❤❤ finally did it. I was about to give up. Up to row 8 and everything is falling into its place. I made sure that those single crochets add up 20 each on each row plus 2. That’s where my error was. Thank u🦋🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶

For step 6 you have the following- Step 6: Repeat steps 2-5 to the end of the row. On the last repeat, hn6b What does hn6b mean??
@DaisyCottageDesigns2 жыл бұрын
Somehow I got a really weird typo when I pasted the pattern into my website... it should read: Repeat steps 2-5 until 4 stitches remain. On the last repeat, end with ch 1, skip a stitch, dc3tog over the last 3 stitches. Ch 1, turn. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I've updated it now.
