Ahoj kamarát. Ja mám doma takéto auto nissan d22 a vôbec mi nesvieti tachometer ani otáčko meter vobec nič uplná tma. Celá palubová doska je úplne tmavá.😞 Všetky poistky sú dobré. Nevieš mi prosím poradiť čo tam môže byť závada? Neviem si to sám opraviť neviem kde mám hladať chybu. Ďakujem ti pekne za pomoc. Tibor zo slovenska.

hi mate how did you depressurise the diesel line before undoing the injector fuel lines? do you have to? thank you
@ReubsModifications2 күн бұрын
Hey mate I let the car sit for a while before cracking one of the injector lines to bleed the pressure out of the system, just make sure to keep fingers clear of the lines when cracking them due to the pressure.

Hi Brother loving your videos. Would this kit of lights work for a 2002 nissan navara zd-30?

Hey mate I believe there may be a kit for the D22 using similar lights. If not you can buy universal LED Festoon lights that will work.

You can put a pry bar down the stub axle and knock the roller bearing out , 4 hits and it’s out , no real need to heat or put bearing in freezer either … great step by step video tho 👌

@ReubsModifications14 күн бұрын
Awesome to hear! Glad you were able to get the fan cleaned out. I've had my fair share of rats in the AC in multiple nissans, if the rats are persistent there is a few ways you can fit cabin filters into cars that didn't originally have one from factory.

What grit of sand paper you use?
@ReubsModifications14 күн бұрын
various different grits, when you're removing the casting marks start at around 80-120, then mover your way up to 400-800 then move into polishing.

Hi mate, good work on the video my question is when cracking the injector lines on the d22 do you have to bleed the system after, or would it be ok to connect up the injector and all good? and can yo please do a video on bleeding the diesel system for us? thank you
@ReubsModifications14 күн бұрын
You don't need to bleed the system, often the system will bleed itself with enough time cranking. However, it can take quite a bit of cranking the motor to get it to cycle the air out of the system. To bleed the injector lines and rail all you need to do is loosen the injector nut at each injector and crank the car until diesel comes out of the injector lines. Then tighten the injector nuts back up, this will force air out of the system.

Great vid mate. I've got my D40 front diff on the bench today to fit an Auto Lokka. I reckon Ill watch your vid a couple more times 👍🏻😄 It's funny, one of the supposed selling points for the Lokka is that it might prevent axle breakage because a wheel above the ground (free spinning) won't be be rotating as fast when it touches down again. Do you think that's true?...or a bit of a myth?
@ReubsModifications24 күн бұрын
Great to hear, the lokka is a great mod. It is really up to how the car is driven but the lokka will allow you to drive tracks slower than unlocked as you have better traction and need less speed therefore allows you to control it better.

@isaakmclean1340Ай бұрын
The fliped arms bind up almost instantly? Will that change? Can see when you jack up one side of the diff housing and it only moves a couple inches before the other side comes up too. Sad to see this not getting finished though I love the old d22s but the ifs is a pain so would be super cool to see it finished.
@ReubsModificationsАй бұрын
The idea is that it gives a much better angle for the arms and is then much better for driving on the road, if binding becomes an issue can opt for aftermarket arms with a different style bush.

Hey mate just wondering when the resistor is replaced will that fix the fan speed switch?
@ReubsModificationsАй бұрын
Hey mate, this resistor is the most common cause for the fan speed switch failing. Cant guarantee without seeing the car but would bet money that if the switch has failed it will be the resistor.

Patience, not a fun job and a bit of a squeeze but you need to be careful around the injector lines as they're easy to damage. Ratchet with a few extensions and a wobbly drive also helps.
