How to Sevice a ZD30

Learn how to service your ZD30 Patrol or Navara by following the steps in this video. This basic service shows how to change the 3 main filters in the engine bay, Air, Fuel and Oil. I purchased a Ryco Filter Kit online however you can buy these filters individually.

Have you experienced that your patrol will loose power when you're accelerating 2.5 rpm and then it goes down to 2k rpm, and when you pump the gas pedal it goes back again? What's the possible cause sir? Thanks 🙏

What is the difference between a ZD30 machine with an oil filter on the side and on the bottom?

I bought a Zd30 engine and installed it for my Nissan car and the filter box under the engine..and in KZbin clips I find that the oil filter is on the side of the engine!!!

@@fahadalwheibi760 it must be out of a different vehicle, I know Nissan put the ZD30 in lots of vehicles but I didn’t know the filter location changed

No cabin air filter, lol, I was watching for the discovery that these are another item left out by nissan just like a fuel lift pump....

So 15w40 is defs good to use? Everyone keeps telling me 10w40 or 5w50 ffs lol.

@@ReubsModifications West coast of Tassie and it gets used for a lot of short trips like to work and shops etc mainly, but a bit of beach and gravel tracks every now and then.

Hey mate cant really say, I have used multiple brands of oil between my ZDs, Penrite, Castrol and our oil supplier for work. Mostly 10w40 from memory.
