Technically you could, but not necessary with this formula as includes some room to fuel exercise too 😊💪

Using this formula I’d suggest reducing your ‘goal weight’ by 10-20% and calculating again. Should start to see weight reducing after a few weeks of consistently sticking with it :) Good luck!

I personally think these are really good, although still yet to try it myself. It's the ease of having everything portioned out and you know your not eating too much. Problem is when you cook at home you may end up cooking that little bit extra rice which doesn't seem like much but could be adding an extra 1000 calories per week. This seems like a good way to get your mindset right and really focus on weighing portions.

A point of safety if bench pressing alone do not use the clips, that way if you have a problem you can tip the bar and let the weight drop the end then drop the other end. Not pretty but better than the bar resting on your throat if something goes wrong.

I know how to cook but have little portion control so I am thinking of starting an meal plan for myself so that I can readjust my body to be used to smaller portions of food. I weightlift and love to walk so am pretty active but I have a quite a bit of chub on me I just want to work out. So I plan to do this for a couple of months to adjust my body to work out what's normal so that my appetite is properly regulated. To move back to cooking and whilst doing this I will be researching more healthy recipes and keep my more tasty meals for later on.

Thanks for making this review! To be honest I think you were a little harsh on MF, especially with not including the fresh meal kits. There are definitely a lot of protein bars and such, but they (I’m assuming) aren’t aimed at healthy people like yourself, but rather at sugar addicts who would otherwise be having chocolate bars. I actually prefer MF to Gousto, which I’ve been doing for nearly 6 months, as I don’t think Gousto are all that healthy with so many little packets of sauces, everything requiring oil and salt, and huge portion sizes. Either way, both options beat what many people around me grew up on; white toast & butter, cuppa soups, and frozen junk disguised as meat for dinner. :)
