Cleans well. Personally, I'm a fan of GM Frigidaire, I grew up with them. Going into Sears you would see their home appliances like washers and dishwashers operating in store. Something I will never forget. I'm actually south of Albany; the Catskills and Adirondacks got hit with snow, most of ours is starting to melt. Once you go north of Rockland into Orange County north, it is like stepping into another state. I have travelled, I would rather be in Long Island than where I am now. Albany and the Capitol District isn't bad, but nothing compared to being close to New York City

@frothe42Күн бұрын
@patcola7335 I wouldn't say isolated, but rural, yes. Not far from Catskill, Hudson and the Hudson River. Olana, that beautiful, unique Frederick Church Moorish home, is on the Columbia County side of the Hudson, overlooking Greene County and a beautiful view of the Catskills. 45 minutes and you are in Downtown Albany, the State Capital buildings. I live in Cairo, NY, which has a very nice café, bakery, juice bar, supermarket. A lot of residents moved up from downstate, most like it up here until you become elderly, then it becomes difficult. I'm more of a urban city person who fits more into Long Island than upstate. I'm an eclectic thinker, progressive, but I do, at times, long for the past, why I like vintage appliances, autos, etc.

Wow features galore, I wouldnhave loved. A second rinse on my old 1989 whirlpool, which was a wonderful machine, but rather basic on options. This anchent beauty has it along with the legendary, Hot/warm water options. Cause we all know, cold water doesn't clean. Let alone it doesn't kill bacteria or virus. But hot water does wonders for both stains, and disinfecting soiled items. Something the rest of the world considers but us Americans seemingly aren't allow to sanitize our cloths anymore, based on modern machines and their options and bullcrap settings. Which is say are almost gimmicks anymore. Modern machines have one mode, normal,which means about 1/4 th full with either cold, or warmish water. Sure you might have, like 11 temp settings, but realistically you got cold, all. The way to warm. The hot setting usually gives you a lukewarm 110* f tub of water which isn't even a hot shower. The agitation settings are, gentle. Only . Sure you may have 21 "cycles" and their all the same. Agitation doesn't change, nor does it even really deivate, ubless you haven't lg. Which has countless strokes of varying speeds, including a 1/4 speed spin which goes off during wash cycle. Alas it doesn't really change much . If your rocking a whirlpool or Maytag, agitator or wash plate, your getting water that if your lucky night immerse your items, which better not rise more then 1/4 th of the tub height. Deep fill, doesn't deep fill. If seemingly does nothing. Maytag extra power.. again does nothing, save for activating a light on the center knob.. you get a weak ass spin rinse. Which is about 14 seconds of low flo cold water spraying the cloths as it spins. Hope you don't have sensitive skin.. this is elevated by selecting fabric softener. Then you get a partial fill. But no second rinse option.

@patcola7335 I originally preferred the straight vanes for a very long time.
