I am surprised you guys have never put your boat in the great lakes. The boyne thunder just got done with. So many race boats. Plus after that you could pop over to Chicago or Mackinac island. The sand dunes so much fun to park a boat in front of those. Charlevoix Michigan would be a great spot to put your boat in

Excellent video Mike and Sarah! My wife and I love the channel and your adventures. Although we have a bass boat with a 250 Pro XS V8, I love watching all outboard powered boats. The way you two put content together and the scenery that goes along with it is truly impressive and a great watch. As soon as I saw the release of the 500R, I said to my wife H2L will definitely be trading in the 450R's.:) You guys do a great job and we love the videos, btw, I like that you guys ended up at a bass tournament! @@captlucky2320 100hp with twins which should allow you to go down 1 prop size depending on size of the boat. That’s more rpm, less cruising rpm and a significant amount of mid range and less plane time. Now if that 100hp is on a 39 you could possibly make even more gains obviously.

And their quality is on par with Yamaha. I’ve owned them all at one point or another and these newer mercs are top notch. Yamaha is getting left in the dust.

You aren't alone. Mine won't submerge even in the shower, gets nauseous when in the bay waters fishing due to the rocking of the waves. It wasn't an issue when younger and fishing rivers and lakes.

Whats the difference between the 600hp V12 and the 500R. Obviously the 500R is a smaller package. I would have though a 4 x 600 would have been a slightly more efficient setup. These videos show what is great about the USA, and serve as a wonderful tourism advertisement.
