Also all water was gone as part of the removal of all life, so, only mirrors remained for Football to appear in until *someone* eventually smashed them all up. Keep in mind that the Lichs wish was made over a decade earlier on that timeline

@HeadCasey "someone" is a correct word, because we don't have anyone except for BMO to break the mirrors, and, honestly, it does NOT seem likely that it was BMO's decision. The way they said it sounded like Football being away surprises BMO. Plus BMO doesn't usually mention Football to anyone, why would they suddenly do it for the first time only after making Football go away on their own? And we're not even given any evidence to assume that Football was saying things BMO wouldn't handle after everyone else was gone. I mean, Football never was shown as the voice of the dark thruth for BMO, they'd probably realize the deaths even less than BMO does. The mirrors being broken are a great point, I wonder how I never noticed that, but BMO just doesn't act like they have anything to do with it. And it's not just mirrors and water that give reflections. As we see in episode "football", these two are pretty much unable to get rid of each other when they have a conflict, football could return in lots of slightly less clear reflections. Then again, if we consider Football as a living creature that was destroyed by the wish, then perhaps the only way of killing such a being would be getting rid of anything that could give reflections, so that's what the wish did?

@user_ne_looser trust me, between the episodes "Football" and "BMO Noir" we see that BMO is truly unhinged - and in the Jerry episode we see BMO thinks he is Princess Bubblegum when wearing her clothes, implying that BMO can pretend to be anyone as long as it entertains him 🤷‍♀️ as for breaking the mirrors to get rid of football, that's what BMO always does when it's time to get rid of Football 😂 it happened in the main timeline where everyone lived, so in the dead timeline same thing except Finn and Jake are played by BMO wearing their clothes and the story of that day would have played out more unhinged than ever 🤣

You can claim that choking a person turns them red, but Finn wasn't really choking him. Jake was laughing, talking and stretched so big that he hurt Finn and Jake didn't return to normal colour till the second he realised he took it too far
