W&N Winsor Lemon is far more transparent than their Lemon Yellow. W&N Transparent Orange PO107? is unique to them, so is their Aqua Green.

You're a great teacher, Margot! I want to learn watercolor in 2025 and I've started watching your videos - this one is very good, I learned a lot!

Angle the brushes so they drain to the tip...protect the ferule connection so water does not swell the wood handle and chip off the paint...etc. The Japanese hang them point-down. Still looking for a better solution.

Thank goodness I tried again & overcame the distraction of the music .... Your teaching and your tips are excellent ! You're clear demonstrate very well. I love the tips you just gave. My initial comment was: I can't concentrate on what your demonstrating... the music was distracting annoying & too loud. I had to stop watching... 😢

use your nails to run a separation along the edges of the sticker, then push the pan through the back. the sticker label remains on the bottom of the pan.

The EtchrLab set of 10 watercolor brushes are good synthetic brushes and keep their shape for those that are opposed to sable.

Thank you for your great tips! I like it as you said, don't need to buy the transfer paper and I can just do it right away as I already have everything else to do it. :)

Hi Margo just tuned in to this. And thank you very much for it. It's very useful. Don't worry about the music etc. I was too engrossed on what you were saying and doing to let anything else bother me. And as you said you have to start somewhere. It's trial and error. You have to go through these things to know what works for you and what doesn't. Everybody has to go through that. And no matter what you, no mstter what you do you're never going to please everybody. Do what's best for you. Those that appreciate you and your work will stay with you. For those you lose, you gain more people that will stay and make up for them. Take care. God bless. Susan ❤❤❤

Primary colors are cyan, magenta and yellow. The video is misleading at best.

HI - I’m wondering about using this technique with pastel pencil as well but graphite is hard to overcome with pastel and is shiny. Also I like to use a grey tone paper. Would this work using say a white charcoal pencil on the back for a transfer medium for pastel work?

Thank you for showing us your lovely drawings/paintings. You’ve been talented since forever! Put me on a list of people in line for any discards! May I ask if you created the painted flowers in the paintings by memory or did you have your “subjects” in front of you? Or perhaps inspiration by a thought or from a single image? You’re so extremely talented and artistic, and I love everything you do. I especially love your abstract roses. I’m not naturally artistic and was wondering what inspires you. P.S. It means so much that you included your steps from beginning to end. I’ve always artists simply whip up beautiful things in no time. I was wrong! 🙃😉😊

Just found you and finished my first video. My gosh, girl, You. Are. Fantastic! My friend suffered the loss of a longtime much-loved pet, and I’ve been trying to find a way to give him a personal drawing/painting of his beloved Sydney. Thank you so much for helping me do that for him. New sub for sure!

7:10 No, the convention is to name the tertiary colours by the direction to which a secondary colour is shifted, therefore, it is a yellow-green, not green-yellow.
